*Lucys POV*

I slowly started moving everything to the new flat until only my bed and a little wardrobe with some robes and muggle clothing in there.

Nobody really realized for a week because I didn't let anyone get even near my bedroom.

"When are you going to tell them?" Padfoot asked me.

"I don't know, you know how they can get sometimes."

"I know, but-"

"Remember when I told my parents I was friends with you?"

"It was more of telling your dad the problem."

"Remember when I told them I was dating you?"

I cringed at the memory, it wasn't the best one.

"You've got a point there Ross."

Excuse meh but aren't you supposed to say black?
I told you we shouldn't have dated him, the guy's a wimp!

  "I always do."

I had come to the conclusion that I should just tell everyone(my parents) that I'm
moving out and just move out. Easy right? Well that's what I thought too.

I told them that I had big news, but I wanted to tell them when they both were home. My father had to work a double shift, and my mum stayed home because she apparently "missed us." Im pretty sure she couldn't give a rats arse about us. At least about me.

She loves you!

No she doesn't. I learnt that from a young age. Eavesdropping had always been one of my best abilitys and unless my ears are wrong, she hates me the most.

We had gotten to a argument when I had just pointed this out.

"Sometimes I wish that you would just get out of here because you are such an disgraceful and ungrateful child!"

"Well if you want me out of here then I'll happily do it because that was the big news! I have a flat now!"

"The day you leave this house will be the day I'll die!" She said, dramatically. "Well then goodbye!"

And then she threw something at me. I didn't have my wand on me so that didn't help either, wandless magic isn't my forte. I didn't know what it was so I tried to run, to try and dodge it. It instead hit my head. The sound that it made was unbearable, like a thousand bells ringing in my ears.

The good thing is that now I knew that it's made from glass. As it hit me, it broke, and cut me, the shards hitting me at every angle, making scars I knew would last forever. There was something hot streaming down my face, and I knew it was blood.

I wasted no time in running up to my room. I made my bed cover the door so that it would be hard to open the door even with Alohamora. I accioed my broomstick as my mother was pounding the door, and the comet had just touched my hand when she stopped screaming at me to open up. She was going to use a blasting spell.

She had always been bad at non-verbal spells. I was getting out of the window when I heard her say, "Bombarda!" I got on my comet as fast as I could and went over to the Potters.

Even though we were neighbors, we lived in the "residential area" meaning that it was secluded from other people.

I barely could knock on Prongs window so they could let me in. This has been something I've done since we first met. You needed to knock a certain pattern and we would have secret codes. I used the emergency one.

He came as soon as I finished it, he must've been in there with Lily. "Lums! What happened to you?!" He asked me. "Long story, just heal it!"

"Right! Right!" Prongs exclaimed. He healed it and gave me some potions to kill the pain for a while.

"Where's Lily?" I asked him. "I don't know, Moody came to pick her up, apparently he needed her for some order business."

"Yeah. Ok."

"Does Padfoot know you're here?" I shook my head lightly.

"Ok, I'll tell him, Moony's down there with him." He started to do something but then decided against it, "When was the last time you've had a good nights sleep?"

"Month ago?"

"Yeah, try to sleep. It'll help the pain as well."

Waking up next to a huge black dog was weirdly comforting. At least I knew it was Sirius. Padfoot was indeed snoring, which meant that he was in an deep sleep.

I kissed his nose, which made him lick it, which licked me, which he woke up with my giggles.

"How are you holding up?" He asked once he turned back, "I feel fine. Although my head still hurts a bit."

"Prongs said that might happen. He spoke to his mother yesterday. The healers said that she might not last much longer."
