Chapter 78, St. Mungos.

*Lucys POV*

"That's it, I'm taking you to St. Mungos." Sirius said.

"Give it one more day Si, I promise you it's probably nothing."

"I already gave it another day, it's Thursday and you've been vomiting all morning each day and now you can't have lamb for some odd reason," He said as I rushed to the restroom once more.

"See? I can't even say it without you getting nauseous."

"Fine. I'll go."

"Thank you."

"So how long has this been going for?" The healer asked me, "About a week and a half." I answered.

Why is he taking so long?

Anxiously I waited for Sirius from what felt like a year-long trip from the restroom.

"Are you active in your sexual life?" She asked.

"Uh, what?"

"Are you active with your sexual life?" She asked again, "Um...yes."

"It's nothing to be ashamed of," She reassured, "Did you miss your period this month?"

"Yes, I did I have it usually at the 30 or 31st depending on the month."

"Okay. Are you alright with blood tests?"

"Yes."

She took blood and said that she'd be right back when Sirius came in.

"What took you so bloody long?"

"Sorry I was just-"

"It's fine. Just don't leave again."

"It was James. He needs me to do something for him, I'll be back as soon as possible, I'm sorry."

"Wait, Sirius!"

"Yes love?"

"I love you."

"I love you too."

And so off he went with James.

As the healer came inside, "I'll be testing your blood for multiple diseases, and also for pregnancy."

"What?"

She handed me a pregnancy test, "It's best to take it, to be on the safe side."

"Right, right, right." I repeated. "Well, I guess I'll, uh, take it."

I went into the bathroom and followed the instructions carefully. Impatiently waiting, I kept looking at the clock.

I looked to the pregnancy test, the results obvious.

I paced around the living room, waiting for Sirius to return. It had been about 2 hours after I had left the hospital.

The next morning I woke up to Sirius next to me. Slowly, I got out and started to make myself some breakfast.

A half hour later Sirius came out of the bedroom fully changed.

"Where the hell were you??" I shrieked, "You drag me to St. Mungos and then just leave?"

"No, it wasn't that, I swear. It was Prongs, he needed me to go with him because he freaked out. He had that temporarily panic mode because of the baby. I'm so sorry, I'll never do that again."

"Oh," I said, "That's fine."

"Did the healer say what it was?"

"Yeah, it was just a virus that goes around this time of the year. Nothing special. She just gave me some medicine."

"Well, at least we know what it is now right?"

"Right."
