*Lucy's POV*

Mrs. Potter had been getting sicker and sicker with every minute that passed. It was, honestly, quite horrifying. Mrs. Potter was the first person that actually showed some sort of feelings for me. Apart from Moony, Wormtail, Prongs, and Padfoot of course.

I haven't actually seen Wormtail in quite some while. I had some scars on my face thanks to the glass -vase?- that my mother threw at me. The most noticeable one was one that went from my right eye to the end of my nose.

A week passed, and we spent more time at St. Mungos. I was on edge since my parents worked there, but there were nowhere to be found.

I fell asleep at about 3am on a Saturday when I heard James call for a doctor. I was resting on Sirius' shoulder who had fallen asleep as well.

I stood up immediately and Padfoot stood up as well. The doctors said that she had passed, and there was nothing to be done.

Her funeral was the second Saturday after that. They buried her next to Mr. Potter, so that was nice.

For the next month, there was only black and white.

As the months passed, the Order Of the Phoenix started giving us more missions, and Wormtail joined as well. Prongs had managed to convince Dumbledore, and we saw Minnie more often.

Lily introduced us to Arthur and Molly Weasley, who she had met through Dumbledore. They had a three boys named William, Charlie, and Percy. They were actually expecting twins.

They said they were trying for a daughter, which, I agree sounded nice.

I was really warming up to them, and I liked their home, it was so cozy. It still is.

"I love this," I said, at they're little home that was more than enough called the Burrow.

"Thank you!" Molly said, "Arthur and I had to put some extending spells here and there but, it's just fine the way it is."

"I agree completely."

Molly taught me how to knit, which was fascinating. In return, I showed her how to cook even better. I had learned it from my father, who had more than his fair share of muggle experiences. He became a muggle chef for a while, and added it to the Wizarding World.

Lily and Prongs had gotten their own flat recently. They lived right across the street from us, which was very neat. Amazing actually.

It had always been a cheesy dream of mine to live next or very near to a friend.

As the time went by, the Order missions became harder. Marlene got killed. Her funeral was really depressing.

I guess I didn't really tell her anything. It was just, "oh hey you're here" and nothing else. I knew Sirius actually got really sad for a while, which was kind of insulting. Jealous, I did get.

Padfoot of course wouldn't tell, at least not to me. I told James about it but he told me to not worry about it.

"He's not sad, he loves you more than life itself." Prongs said, "Of course he's sad, James. I'm not stupid, I've seen the look on his face, the tone of his voice. Don't you think I've seen that before? Don't you think I've been like that before?"

"Well, yeah, but-"

"No buts."

A particular Order mission got me tired out, since I was working on it alone, and it lasted a few days.

"Come here," Padfoot said inviting me to his arms. I kissed him, and cuddled up next to him. "Do you ever get that feeling, that you want to be anywhere else but in the place you are in that moment?"

"Sometimes. You ever want to go on a vacation?"

"Of course, what sane person doesn't?"

"Just asking, would you like to go to France?"

I jolted right up. "Are you—"

"Would you like to go to France?" He asked me once more.

"Yes!"

"I'm just asking again, don't go and get yourself too excited."

I threw a pillow at him, "I'm just kidding we are going!"
