Chapter 19, The almost First Match

    *Sirius' POV*

     I saw Lucy in her little cod sleeping, Guess she couldn't sleep either, I thought. I then realized she was sweating and panting a bit.

"Lucy," I said, kneeling beside her. "Lucy wake up." She bolted upwards panting. "Are you ok?" I asked her.

    "Yeah, I'm fine," I gave her a look that said it all. "Don't look at me like that!" "Really?" "Ugh, fine." "Fine What?" "I think you know." "I think I do."

  She confessed what she was dreaming about, while in my arms. After she calmed down, she went to sleep. I couldn't move considering that she was in my arms, and I wouldn't dare to move. I quickly went to sleep, holding her more tightly.

*Lucys' POV*

   I woke up to find Sirius holding me tightly, but not enough to be uncomfortable.

I could wake up to this,
No you couldn't!
Shut up!
You shut up!

I quickly shook the thoughts out of my head as I heard the painting open, "Sirius," I said shaking his arm, "Huh?" I scoffed and I shook him more. "Ok, ok, I'm up." He mumbled. He put his arms up and let me escape. "Thanks," in that moment I saw James come up,

  "Thought you two would be up here." He turned to the stairs, "They're up here!"  Remus and Peter came up. Peter squeaked out a, "Are you going to class today?" "Yes, I think I've skipped enough classes." He nodded and Remus looked at me, "Are you sure?" "Yes."

  We went down to the great hall and sat down next to Lily and Lily's friends. They were the girls from our, I mean my used to be, dorm.

  "How are you feeling?" She asked me, "I'm fine." I put some pancakes and bacon on my plate and went into conversation with Remus. "I still have to tell Minnie why I'm going to quit the Quidditch team," I told him, "I still don't have an excuse though."

  He thought about it. "Maybe tell her that your parents don't want you to play Quidditch anytime soon?" "No, then she'll have to owl my parents and they'll actually know." "Good point."

  Our first period began and off to Transfiguration we went. After the class, James, Sirius, Peter, and Remus, said they were going to wait for me.

  "Er, Professor?" She looked up, "Yes, Miss Ross?" "Could I quit the Quidditch team?" She looked confused, "May I ask why?"

"Well, er, I—"

  "It's fine, I get it. Could you perhaps wait until the next match? We have been losing terribly since the (she made "" signs with her hands) "accident" happened."

"Of course, Professor."

  I was turning to the door, I had my hand on the doorknob, when she suddenly said, "Is something bothering you?" "No." I opened the door and left,

Now she suspects something.
Ok, ok, I know, I get it.
Now you've screwed it up.
Ok!

I was opening the door to Potions class when I realized, 1, I left everyone behind but they are probably right behind me, 2, it was pretty early, 3, there was nobody there. I then heard footsteps behind me. I turned around and saw that it was just Peter.

  "James—" he panted, "He wants to ask you something. He's just to lazy to come, he's walking." "Let's go get him." After walking a bit, I heard laughter. His laughter. I think Peter saw me tense up and stop because he then asked if I was ok. "Peter, lets get out of here." "What? Oh, ok." He got the hint and he walked on my left, where he was going to go.

   After turning the corridor, he seemed to not notice me I turned a bit to him when he passed and put his robes on fire. I whispered to Peter to run. "COME BACK HERE YOU FUCKING SLUT!" he yelled. I just ran honestly.

     I heard a "detention" and a taking points away. I think it was 50. I think it was Professor Flitwick. We were outside of the Charms class. I bumped into someone and fell down. I was on top of someone and he was at the bottom.

   "Hello there." Said Sirius wiggling his eyebrows. "Seriously?" "Yes, Siriusly." "Ok I've got to stop saying that." "Oi! Lovebirds!" yelled out James, "We're going to be late!" I scoffed at what he said and muttered a "sure" while blushing slightly. We then ran to our potions class where Professor Slughorn was just about to enter.

     "Ok, this time we aren't late!" said Sirius to Professor Slughorn. "You are quite correct, we did enter at the same time, please take a seat." We sighed with relief and on went the day.

   "Lady and Gents! It is the first game with Lucy Ross," the crowd cheered, (I waved) well mostly Gryffindors, "back on the field! Come on Lucy, we are all cheering for you! Except the Slytherins they were the team that almost killed you—"

"Jordan!"

"Sorry Professor, But I am telling it how it is!"

   Madame Hooch appeared and yelled, "I want a nice, clean game, Captains shake hands!" They shook hands and Madame Hooch blowed on her whistle. We were off. (A/N Jsyk, the game is supposed to be against Ravenclaw and I'm sorry if I've already used the last names before. Also, that's supposed to be Lee Jordan's dad. I don't really know his name so.... back to the fanfic.)

   "Potter gets the Quaffle, Johnson steals it, the Gryffindor keeper blocks it. Ooh, the Gryffindor beaters, Watson and Knockly, barely saved Mason there!" I scoffed at his name and saw a glint of gold in the distance. It was kinda cloudy so it was a bit difficult to see it.

"It looks like Ross has found the Snitch! Come on Lucy! Do it for the house!" That made me grip my broom tighter and go straight towards it. "AND LUCY HAS CAUGHT THE SNITCH!! GRYFFINDOR WON! 180-90!"

As I landed the team made its way around me, "We knew you could do it!" someone yelled. The Gryffindor house soon got there and celebrated, it was after all, our first win in a while. Jared soon came close and smirked, and I just backed away, my hand clutching my wand under my Quidditch robes. It was a wild party that night. Remus and James kept close to me, while Sirius was keeping a eye out for me, probably while snogging a girl.
