*Lucys POV*

"Professor, I feel loads better, can I go now?" I asked Madame Pomfrey, "Nonsense!" I laid in my bed and ate a chocolate frog. Merlin's card appeared, it was a rare one! "Ooh!" Sirius soon came, and I bragged about it.

"Please?" I asked Madame Pomfrey, "The Hogsmeade trip is today!" "Ok, but you have to come right after." She finally gave in. "Yes!" I said punching the air, "Thank you!" Sirius was waiting for me outside the wing, and we ran off to the carriages.

"Finally! I thought you weren't going to make it!" Exclaimed James. "I finally convinced
Madame Pomfrey, though I do have to come right after." "Ok." "Fine by me."

We went to the Three Broomsticks and discussed everything, then we went to Zonkos, we then went to Honeydukes, and lastly because we were worried, we went to the Shrieking Shack. (It was a full moon) I told them that I would like to wander alone for a while, for, it was Halloween.

"Ok, we'll be at the cottages, a family friend lives there." said James. I said goodbye and I looked around. It was pretty full considering it was Halloween you would think that everyone would go to the Halloween feast. I went ahead and heard the screams of the "violent spirits" that haunted the house. Poor Remus, I thought.

AN: UMM IT HAPPENS RIGHT HERE SO, ER,YEAH..... ADIOS

"What are you thinking about?" said a voice, I jumped and pulled my wand out.

"Woah, it's just me." said Jared, "Jared," I breathed out.

"What are you doing here?" I asked him. We sat down in a shabby bench that was there, "Well, it's my last year. I wanted to spend my last Halloween here, well er, with someone I like."

"Oh." I said, "I'm sorry but I don't like you that way."

"Oh, it's always the nice guys last eh?"

"What?"

"I've seen you around with Sirius, I've seen how he's a player."

"No I do—"

"Stop lying," he leaned in and kissed me, against my will.

"Don't, please."

"Don't lie, I know you want this as much as I do."

An eternity.
That's how long it lasted.
An eternity of pain.
An eternity of being seen as an object.
An eternity of being abused.
I was left crying silently, and grabbed my wand which I had been unable to grab earlier. But the words that he left with were etched into my mind forever.

"No one will ever want you."

I stood up and trembled, "Accio Sirius' Coat." I put his coat on. It was oversized so it covered me until my knees. I walked down to the cottages and saw Sirius alone, looking into the distance.

His eyes lit up when he saw me. "Hey," he said smiling. His smiled vanished when he saw my puffy eyes and me wearing his coat.

"What happened? Are you ok?" I hugged him, cried for a while with him. His voice soothed me, and I told him what had happened.

"That fucking bastard." Sirius said. "Sirius," I said softly, "I'm going to kill him." "Sirius," I said once more. "He's going to get it."

"Sirius!" I kind of yelled, and I finally got his full attention.

"Si, he stole everything away from me. I haven't even told my crush that I like him, and now he's probably going to say that I'm a slut, or some shit like that. They always win."

"Not this time."

"Sirius he did! He did ok?!" I said, "he did." I said crying, I put my head in his chest and he rubbed my back warmingly.

"We should get you cleaned up."

"Yeah, I- that's a good idea."

We were halfway to the castle when I asked Sirius a question. "Si, did I say anything before I passed out?" He looked at me and raised an eyebrow, "at the Quidditch game." "You only said 'I'." "That's all?" "That's all."

We walked hand in hand when we entered Gryffindor tower. To make things worse, guess who was there. "Slut." Some kid said. Another sniggered. That only made Sirius hold my hand tighter and shoot a hex at whoever looked or said something about me. A girl looked at me with understandment. (I'm sorry if that isn't a word, you know what I mean.)

We walked to the dorm and straight to the showers. I looked at Sirius who who was looking down with,—tears?— On his eyes. "Sirius?" I said. He looked up and I saw his grey eyes, with tears, and a red nose.

"I'm sorry. You probably think I'm weak now." He said crying, "No Sirius, but what are you sorry for?" I asked him.

"For not protecting you. I'm sorry for not being there for you. I should've been there." I cupped his head and I kissed him.

"Do you know what I meant to say that day I almost died?"

"What?"

I changed my mind and said, "I'll tell you when you're older."

That made him smile and he left. That day, in the shower, I was thankful for having such good friends, especially a Sirius.
