*Lucy's POV*

Sirius was drooling on my shoulder as he was fast asleep from the events of last night.

I was replaying a moment, well two moments in my head all night.

First, it had of course been when Remus had broken Sirius' nose. But it had surprised me when he had looked at me with eyes full of betrayal, just for defending one of my oldest best friends, my husband.

Then, it had been when Sirius confessed something to me.

"What? Tell me, we've got plenty of time Sirius." I told him as I heard him sigh.

"Well, sometimes when I feel really down, and don't feel bad about this next part because it's usually when you've had a long day at work or were just really tired. So, when I feel down, I go to Grimmuald Place."

Taken aback, I raised an eyebrow, asking the question I was repeating in my head.

"I know, but it's got a reason behind it."

"Which is?"

"I try to catch a glimpse of Regulus."

Sighing, I turned to look at Padfoot who was hogging half of the blanket.

"Just a glimpse, huh?" I whispered to him, his breathing the only other audible sound.

It was nearly dawn when Padfoot woke up, all in a daze.

"Glad you're up, sleeping beauty."

"Yeah, haha." He said dryly.

I rubbed his head, messing up his hair to his horror. "Stop! I'm not James In case you haven't noticed!"

"Yeah," I said shortly.

He looked up to me, his head on my stomach, fingers intertwined with hair.

"You okay?" Sirius asked with puppy eyes. "It's fine, I'm just..."

"...thinking?"

"thinking."

"Is it about the Regulus thing?"

"Yeah."

He stopped for a moment, and then said, "Come on," And proceeded to make his way out into the snow in animagus form.

"Pads!" I said, making him bark at me.

"I can't believe you're making me do this," I mumbled, "I wouldn't be surprised if your child is as stubborn as you are."

Padfoot turned back just to say, "I wouldn't be either, she would get that from you as well."

"Oh?" I said in a teasing tone, "So it's a she now?"

He simply winked at me.

"Come on," Padfoot told me, "It's fastest if you avoid the roads, alleys are better."

"Maybe you should've been a cat instead," I told him, causing him to gasp dramatically.

"A CAT?!"

"You heard me."

He scoffed, "Betrayal."

At last, we seemed to have arrived at Grimmuald place.

"He's seen me sometimes, but he never found out of the animagi trick up our sleeves, so he probably just thinks that I'm a stray dog."

"So what about when he sees a wolf and a dog?"

"He'll just be weirded out. Probably."

There was a pause, waiting for them to wake up.

"Have you seen what he's done lately?"

He looked down. "If by that you mean the dark mark," Sirius said slowly and softly, "Yes, I've seen it before."

Guilt ridden, I confessed something to him.

"Okay, look, I got to confess something that I haven't told you yet for some reason."

"Which is?"

"Do you remember when you wanted to invite Regulus to our wedding, and so I did, but he never really turned up?"

"Yeah..."

"Well, he did show up. For a little while I assume."

I saw Padfoots dog tail wag against the floor, giving a rhythmical thump, thump to the ground.

"Remember when I told you that I was talking with myself in the concealed corner, right before we were going with Minnie and Hagrid? Well he was there, left a second before you came. He told me to tell you that he missed you."

He stayed quiet for about a minute.

"Si?"

"Yeah, no, it's just that," He cleared his throat, "that's our way of...y'know."

"I..oh."

"Yeah, that was our way of saying—look! He's right there!"

And sure enough, Regulus was seen for just a second, or two, and I had just seen his face, I had seen just a glimpse of him.
