Chapter 45, Hogsmeade.

*Lucys POV*

As I was heading to the Transfiguration classroom when Prongs caught of to me. "She said yes!" He said truimphantly, "Wait, what? I thought you were going with Padfoots plan!"

"Did you really think that I was going to listen to that bloody tosser? I mean, come on, I'm not that stupid Lums."

I shrugged, "Wow, that's cold." James told me. "She did ask me to keep it a secret though, she doesn't want anyone to find out until she's ready."

"What? The James Potter is keeping a secret? I have never heard of such a thing you know." He opened his mouth to say something. "Except for a secret or two."

We slipped inside the classroom and sat down. Mid-way through the lesson, Moony had tapped me in the shoulder. "Am I dreaming or is Lily staring at James?" I looked over and saw that indeed, Lily was staring at Prongs.

I gave her a look and she turned away. I nudged James, "Lily was staring at you right now." And listen to this, he turned to look if she was staring at him. "Was, James! Not is!" I said in a rushed whisper.

"Right."

"So, where is Prongs again?" Padfoot asked me, "I don't know, I think he said that he'll catch up to us." I lied. "So, shall we go?" "We shall."

We went to the Three Broomsticks, Honeydukes, Zonkos, and as we were entering the Three Broomsticks again because, 1, we liked it there, 2, it was warm. I saw Lily and James talking and drinking butterbeer.

"Oh no!" I said even more dramatically than usual. "I forgot to get something.... at Honeydukes!"

Stupid, stupid, stupid! You're being to obvious!
Calm down, it's only Padfoot! The only person just as oblivious as him is probably Prongs!
It's still too obvious!
Shut up!

"Ok, so Honeydukes now right?" He asked me, and like that, all evening, I successfully avoided Prongs and Lily for the rest of the day.

"How did you do it?" Prongs asked me in the common room while I was eating my probably 4th chocolate frog. I had gotten Rowena Ravenclaw, but this one was my third of her. "With great difficultly, but he was being oblivious like usual so it was ok."

"I really owe you. What do you want? I'll buy you anything." James told me. I was on the edge of my seat, "Anything?"
"Anything."

"LUMOS I'M NOT GOING TO BUY HONEYDUKES FOR YOU!"
"YOU SAID ANYTHING YOU LIAR!"
"ANYTHING RATIONAL!"
"YOU'RE STILL A LIAR!"

You could see how it went. He did buy me 10 chocolate frogs, a box of chocoballs, a cauldron cake, and peppermint toads though.

Padfoot was still being oblivious which was working out great for me. Moony and Wormtail were suspecting something. It was November 3rd, Sirius' birthday, but we were heading to Hogsmeade. Prongs had invited Lily, but she declined for she wanted it to still be a secret.

"I'll be right back." I told Moony, Wormtail, Padfoot, and Prongs in the Three Broomsticks. Madame Rosmerta had just taken our order and gone to the bar. "Madame Rosmerta?"

"Yes?" She asked, "Could you put this potion in Sirius' cup please?" I tried to say as 'I'm-not-trying-to-kill-him' way as possible.

"It's just a prank correct?"
"Yes."

She agreed aand I went back, to see Marlene and Lily at the table. My blood boiled and I made a bee line for the door.

Yes, I know, but my blood was boiling and I was jealous and so I hoped that nobody would find me. As I wandered, I realized that I really shouldn't have done that.

1. Because it was cold, and there was only so much a scarf and jacket could do. I did put a heating charm on though.
2. Because based on what happened last time, I shouldn't be out here alone.

Now here I was wandering alone, near the Hogshead which was frankly the worst area to be in. I still didn't want to be near them because I was jealous, so I went to Honeydukes, bought a cauldron cake and a box of chocolate frogs and ran for the thestral carriages.

I locked myself in the hideout and ate. It made me feel worse and fat but it was good while it lasted. I slept looking at the stars, which calmed me a lot more than you could ever understand. For, they would always stay with me.
