Chapter 48, Christmas.

*Lucys POV*

    Christmas had gone pretty smoothly, and even though Moony had transformed in Christmas Day the transformation wasn't as bad as it was. He was actually calm, which was going in my favor since I had been the only one who stayed at Hogwarts with Remus. I had visited him the 26th in the hospital wing and left a packet of fudge flies, and since he still hadn't woken up Madame Pomfrey kicked me out.

I went next to the black lake when I heard Fang bark.

We haven't been to Hagrids in a while. Let's visit him.
What if Moony wakes up?
Visiting Hagrid it is!

I went over to where Fang was and noticed that he was barking into the Forbidden Forest. "Uh, Hagrid?" I asked. The bushes rustled and he popped out. "'Ello Lucy! How have yer been?" We engaged in small talk and I eventually had to leave since lunch was starting.

A week later Moony was released and we waited for Padfoot, Prongs, and Wormtail to arrive. We talked though, and Moony understood quite well.

"Did you guys miss me?" Padfoot asked me. "No—who gave you that jacket?" I said after noticing that Padfoot had a leather jacket on. "This was a gift from Evans, who introduced me to the muggle punk-rock world."

"What is it with you and your punk-rock things?!" I groaned, while he just winked.

  I was braiding his hair in the common room, and we were the only ones there since it was almost 3am.

  "Do you ever think about our future?" Sirius asked out of the blue. "Er-yes," I replied awkwardly. "Oh?" He said raising an eyebrow.

"Well, I've always thought about it really. You have just been added to it for a while now. I've always pictured myself with one child, I don't really care whether it's a girl or boy, gay or transgender."

I shrugged. "I've always wanted to be an auror since I was little. It was practically the only job I knew though, apart from a healer of course. I also have thought about living in an all wizard village."

"Sounds peaceful," He said quietly. "It is in my head but with the war going on, you don't really know what's going to happen."

Padfoot only nodded, and held my hand. "I'll get us out of this alive. All of us." Sirius said quietly.

"I hope we will," I said, and started to unbraid his hair.
