*Lucys POV*

The morning of April 21st was quite normal, unlike the news I would hear that day.

Basically halfway through my pregnancy, it was getting uncomfortable. It wasn't unbearable, it was just...there.

No other way to describe it, or at least describe it correctly.

Dawn was pretty. Much like the first trimester, the third trimester was uncomfortable.

Waking up in the middle of the night, numerous times, just to go the restroom.

And it wasn't unusual to find an empty sleeping draught container in my bedside cabinet.

James helped me with those potions, but it was quite annoying because, well, Fleamont Potter...yeah.

As I reached over to grab a sleeping draught to have at least a nap to find that there was no draughts left/

"Great," I muttered.

I felt Padfoots arms wrap around me from behind.

"What's wrong?" He mumbled in my hair.

"There's no more sleeping draughts in here," I sighed.

"Already? But it's only been about a week since--"

"Yeah, well, you try growing a BABY inside your UTERUS and then to push it out of your VAGINA! No one's going up to you and saying 'Hi, is that your nostril? Mind if we put a pot roast through it?!"

"Calm down Lucy," He said, "I was just going to say that we should ask Prongs for more."

"Yeah sure," I told him. Sirius made a face. Bursting out laughing, I smiled at Padfoot, a goofy smile taking over his face.

"I hate that I can't be mad at you," I said.

"Well, I'm rather glad for that." He leaned over and saw the time, "10:49. Probably should start the day."

"Probably," I raised an eyebrow, "Fine."

It was weird to go back and feel like an Adult. The little third year students were so small it was unbelievable. I was still short at 5'4 ¾ but it was basically 5'5, but was usually the shortest.

As we walked, our robes collected dew as spring rolled in.

"D'you think we have time to go to Honeydukes? I feel like having something sweet."

"You mean you want Peppermint Frogs?"

"Great! Let's go in."

I dragged him into the shop as if we were 13 again, and we got chocolates for weeks.

We walked into Zonkos and got something for James. (It wasn't store bought.)

Finally walking into The Three Broomsticks a tad late and saw Dumbledore chatting with Madame Rosmerta. ???

"Lucy, Sirius!" He said, "Would you like a butterbeer?"

He handed us both a cup.

"Let's go to the castle, shall we?"

We hopped on the carriages and he kept on saying how Minnie had missed us and how Professor Sinestra ??? Missed us as well.

Finally, we arrived and caught Minnie halfway there.

"Minnie!" Sirius said like a small child and hugged her.

"Very nice to you too Sirius," she looked at me with a smile, "I never formally said congratulations. Congratulations. Do you have a name?"

"Lyra," Padfoot said, returning to my side.

"Pretty name," She told us, "Well, I won't take much more of your time, I hope that everything'll turn out well. Good luck to both of you two. And tell James and Lily the same for me?"

"'Course Professor."

"Very well. Goodbye to the two of you."

"Bye Minnie!"

She turned and left as a crash was heard and laughter followed.

"PEEVES!" She scolded.

After what seemed millions of stairs, we arrived at Dumbledore's office. I played with a rather strange trinket he had on a shelf.

"It's a Hytlemi. Xenophilius Lovegood gave me it as a thanks for helping him out with The Quibbler."

I nodded, and he directed us to sit in his office chair, it made me feel nervous. Lyra hadn't been kicking but I had a strange feeling in my gut.

He made small talk, but then a serious expression went over his face.

"There's been a prophecy."

and at the word 'prophecy' i felt Sirius' loose arm around me stiffen.

i felt my breathing become almost non-existent.

"about..."

"Yes, about Lyra."

"i think i'm going to be sick." i said quickly and rushed out. i heard Sirius' footsteps behind me.

puking all over the toilet, sirius held my hair back.

i heard him sigh and my eyes started to sting. after a while, i got cleaned up and turned to see sirius. he was sitting against the wall, his head laid back, with a hand over his forehead.

"What are we going to do?" He asked, his voice full of frustration.

"i have absolutely no idea," i said sitting next to him, "and i am completely and utterly terrified."

"Same here."

"merlin, we have to get back to dumbledore."

"We do, don't we?"

Dumbledore started to tell us the prophecy.

"As I was meeting a dear friend of mine, Celeste Lauder, in the Leaky Cauldron in Mid-February when she made this prophecy:

Born as the eighth month starts, she who has the power to help the chosen one is . Coming from a descent of a well-known Sorceress, she will inherit the powers. She shall have enough poweress to defeat those who deem themselves invincible.  The Dark Lord will no know to fear her until in a tragic time, she will be exposed by herself."
