Chapter 16, It's always Quidditch.

*Lucys POV*

"Get into positions!" Yelled Madame Hooch, "Now, I want a nice clean game," She looked at the Slytherins, "From all of you. Ready, go!"

"And the game is starting folks, first game of the season! Dempsey has the Quaffle, passes it to Winston, oh! Clarkson gets it, and she scores! 10-0 (Gryffindor to Slytherin)" said, er— Jordan? I don't know if that's his last or first name. I was upwards in the air, like I always was and I was paying attention to the commentary until I saw a speck of gold with the corner of my eye.

    "I think Lucy found the snitch! Black is right behind her, watch out Lucy!"

      I really didn't wanting to look back, so I kept my eyes focused in the snitch. I stretched my hand out, I was so close! I just need to close my hands, then I felt a push. I was going down to the floor, I was screaming but I then realized that I was going to hit the floor in a matter of seconds, I stopped screaming and closed my eyes, this is it, I thought, Goodbye.

    "THAT WAS A DIRTY FOUL!! SLYTHERIN WINS, BECAUSE OF A CHEATER, YOU FOUL SCUM!!!!! YOU FLITHY LITTLE—"

"Jordan!"

      Yells of my name were screamed from everywhere, except the Slytherins. I then felt numb, I could barely breathe, it hurt to move anything, and the Gryffindors were coming down now, from their brooms, to our stands. Sirius, James, Remus, and Peter, were the first there, in that order.

     I felt tapping in my cheek, "Lucy, can you hear me? You've got to fight it ok? Stay awake, please." I heard Sirius cry, I had enough strength to wipe a tear of Sirius' face, and said, "I'm ok-" And then my eyelids dropped.

*Sirius' POV*

"Lucy? Lucy!" I told her, she wouldn't budge. I motioned for Remus and James to help carry her to the stretcher Minnie had just summoned. "Put her here, I'll get her there." She can't be gone, we followed Professor McGonagall to the hospital wing, but Madame Pomfrey shooed us out.

"You can't enter unless you're injured." "Bu—" "No buts!"

And just like that, we slept on the floor outside the hospital wing that day.

*Lucys POV*

  The last thing I remember was seeing Sirius. It would be a nice death picture if he wasn't the player of the school. Ugh, I thought. Am I alive? I mean I'm in a dark place, pitch black. Wouldn't I be in a white place if I was dead? I opened my eyes and everything was blurry. "Ugh." I groaned, I suddenly felt a terrible pain all over.

  "Lucy?" Asked Sirius, "Is she ok?" Asked Remus, "She's alive!" Said James, "Thank god!" said a voice I know to be Lilys'. "Really?" said a voice that is Peters. "I'm fine," I said my vision becoming normal.

  "What happened? I just remember seeing the snitch, falling, and seeing Sirius. "Er—" started James, "You kind of fell?" said Peter, "More like pushed," said Lily with disgust. "Jerry Dolan pushed Regulus and he pushed you." Sirius said.

   "And we didn't win, I'm sorry." I said a hand over my forehead. "It's fine, it really wasn't your fault." said James. "Is she awake? Please, out of the way Mister Potter, Black." She gave me a potion and told me to help myself. She left, and shooed Lily, Remus, Sirius, James, and Peter.

  I looked around and noticed that there was all types of things around me, get well cards, chocolates (some were open), Bertie Botts every bean flavor, and a lot of Honeydukes candy. I smiled, I really had a family now.
