*Lucys POV*

The wedding was near and I was freaking out because I hadn't thought of how I would ask Lily to be my maid of honor.

Just say it, "Lily would you be my maid of honor?" Spit it out.

It's easy. Right? Right!?

Breathe in, breathe out.

We went out to a muggle restaurant that she liked which was apparently "Very good" in her words.

We ordered, ate, and left. She wanted to go walking for a while, then apparate when she got tired.

"I'm glad that you're marrying Sirius. You two complement each other. Yin and Yang."

"Yeah, he can be difficult sometimes though. Just..drunk most of the time."

"But he loves you. Trust me, the look in his eyes, the look in your eyes.-"

"Thank Merlin or I would kill him," I joked. "Hey, Lils, can I ask you something?"

She looked curious, "Yeah, always." I stopped walking which made her stop walking and asked, "Would you be my maid of honor?"

Her look was priceless, and she literally jumped up and down out of happiness.
"Of course!"

The next morning I realized that I had forgotten to send out some of the invitations. Noah got tired and I let him rest.

"You've got a long way to go buddy," I told Noah, "Come on! These are for, Minnie, Molly and her family, Lily's parents, Moody, Dumbledore, Kingsley Hagrid and Fang, Frank and Alice, Remus' parents, Peter's parents, and oh wait this one's mine. Ok, you should get going now."

He hooted, and left. I opened the letters that have been ignored. One was from my aunt who agreed to come and one from my favorite cousin who had agreed to be my bridesmaid.

Dearest Lucy,

I will of course come, I wouldn't miss the biggest day of your life if it were for anything! I do ask if Newt, Tina, Queenie, and Jacob could come too. They didn't ask but I could see that they wanted to when I told them about this.

Milo and Aurora told me when you invited them and I hoped that I would get mine soon.

Damn, I can hear her laugh in this letter.

Anyways, expect me there. We should meet up before the wedding though, I want to see who you're marrying!

-Aunt Ari

I forgot to tell her I was marrying a Black. I forgot. Pureblood families are usually divided into two groups, the people who think that they are superior and hate muggleborns. Thats group 1, the second group would be the one that believe that everyone is equal and do not believe in bloodpurity, and take everyone under their wings.

My aunt and part of my family were group 2.

And you know it, the Blacks are group 1.

Yes, I understand that Sirius is not like that, but--but my aunt might have heard that-yes, I hope she did.

I opened the one from Aurora.

Dear Lucy,

I can't believe that you asked me to be your bridesmaid! I'll be honored! Thank you so much, I love you! Theres a reason why you're my favorite cousin, I knew it.

I told your parents if you were going to invite my parents to the wedding and they told me this huge story about what had happened. Also I'm sorry because if you haven't received a howler you will.

I'll try to write more! And I'm still sorry!

-Thanks, Aurora.

"Well shit."

As if on queue, an owl tapped on the window with a howler in its beak. I took it and opened it, I'll just ignore it like I did when I was younger.

"LUCY ROSS HOW DARE YOU NOT INVITE US TO YOUR WEDDING--"

I didn't care, it's not like yelling is going to heal everything, if anything it does quite the opposite. I ignored it and put a silencing spell in the bedroom, Padfoot was definitely asleep.

I made a sandwich as the howler went on following me, "AND WE HAD TO HEAR ABOUT IT FROM AURORA!! YOU'RE AN EMBARRASSMENT TO OUR FAMILY! WE EXPECT TO HEAR FROM YOU AND IF YOU DON'T I'LL PERSONALLY HUNT YOU DOWN!"

Ah, the empty threats I missed. The howler stopped and ate itself.

"No you won't."

Sirius came out of the bedroom and raised an eyebrow.

"Just a howler from my lovely mother." I sarcastically said.
"Ouch."
"Not really, just empty threats."
"Yeah that's true."

He went inside the bathroom to get ready for the day.

"Don't hog the shower!"
"I won't promise anything!"

Sighing, I looked over at Sirius' invite list because I remembered that he was having trouble with it. What I had suspected was true, on the page it had only three letters.

Reg.
