Chapter 50, Pranks at Hogwarts.

*Lucys POV*

  The day I had most dreaded had come. We were supposed to leave tomorrow. With that being said, I had thought of harmless but amazing pranks. Some require the help of Peeves, some I could do alone, some I needed Moony, Wormtail, Padfoot, and Prongs.

  "What did you have in mind Lums?" Prongs asked, "Well everyone is doing their different pranks but I think we should do one that'll out do each and everyone of our other pranks."

  Padfoot had exaggerated and brought a notepad. "We'll need some help with this one, basically we need to sneak into Hogsmeade and go to Zonkos."

  I recited all of the pranks I had thought of, and we zoomed off to get the map and cloak. We hastily went to the one-eyed witch passage and snuck off to Honeydukes. I took some sweets but left some money. Peppermint toads would taste amazing if they were melted into some gravy, wouldn't they?

  After leaving and getting enough things I had to sneak into the Potions classroom. I made enough for everyone and went off to the kitchens. "This is for the Gryffindor table, Slytherin, Hufflepuff, and Ravenclaw. Oh! This is for Dumbledore, Flitwick, Sinestra, Minnie, Slughorn, Sprout, and for Tuttlebout."

  They said that they would put them and then I left. A Prefect was going around doing their rounds, but I just avoided them.

  I went to look after Peeves but visited Myrtle first. "Myrtle?" I asked in hopes of getting her to come out. "Who goes there?!" Myrtle shrieked, "It's just me Myrtle," She flew over me and onto the thing that the sinks were attached to.

  "Lucy!" Myrtle said, "I didn't expect you to come here," I cleared my throat, me neither, "Well I just wanted to ask for a favor," Myrtle flew next to me, "Which is?"

"Could you just overflow everything with water? Add this," I gave her a potion, "And no one will blame you."

She looked at the potion, "This looks peculiar, what is it?" I sighed, I definitely had underestimated her. "Just put it, Myrtle!"

I ran out to proceed with a different prank. We were supposed to meet at our hangout when we were done and I had figured they would be there by now. I had been right.

"Where have you been?" Asked Prongs, "We've been waiting for you!" I scoffed and said, "Don't you have the map?"

"Hold up, we thought you had it?" Moony said, "Oh yeah that's true, I have it right here..." I searched my pockets and everything else the map could be in.

"I thought I had it too," Then I realized it, "I must've dropped it!" We all scrambled to find it and when we did, guess who was there. Filch.

"You 5 are coming with me!" He yelled at us. I had a plan, to get it back but then I realized that I had no dungbombs left.

We went into the small office that he had, and he proceeded to make a speech of how he would punish us if there weren't any rules against it. "What is this!?" He asked, yelling and spitting. "It's a Zonkos product," I said hastily, "It's limited edition, could I have it back please?"

He then proceeded to call Minnie, and while I'm sure she knew that this was no Zonkos product because Minnie wasn't completely clueless like Filch. "Did you five get this at Zonkos?" She asked, and we all agreed as soon as the question was asked.

"I think this is merely a harmless Zonkos product." Minnie explained to Filch. "Nonsense!" He demonstrated how it insulted him and when Minnie tried it, she got only compliments. I saw a small smile on her face, and repeated that it was just a harmless product.

"Now if you don't mind, I'll go off to sleep." Minnie left, but Filch kept the map. Everyone started to groan and complaint of how I messed it up.

"At least our children might have a chance of getting it!" I said, hoping for them to get at least slightly less mad at me. "Yeah, because a pair of redhead twins might give it to my son!" James exclaimed, "I still can't believe you dropped it!" Moony said, "That map was everything we could ever think about!"

"In case you 4 had forgotten, I worked on it too! It took everything I had and it wasn't just your loss!" I stormed off and ended up in the kitchens.

What a nice last day.
I agree.

I scoffed and ate a sandwich. The next morning I woke up there, and I noticed that the house elves had put a little blanket over me. How adorable. I rushed off to see the pranks work. I changed out of my old robes and put new ones. They were still mad at me, but had taken it a level down.

"Come on, maybe some other pranksters might get it someday." Padfoot scoffed, "And they'll continue our legacy. Sure," I rolled my eyes. Why do they have to be so childish? We still need to finish our last prank, do you have the spell?"

"Yeah." Moony said grumpily, we quickly finished up on that and went to sleep.
