Chapter 52, Alastor "Mad-Eye" Moody.

*Lucys POV*

  We became friends in a rather quick time. We gave our addresses to each other so we could owl in the summer.

  We got out of the Hogwarts Express, and it hit me that it might be the last time I ever see it again. We all went our different ways, but at least James and Sirius live near me. My mum and dad picked me and my brother up and we all apparated back home.

As usual, our parents tried to squeeze information about school out of us. I stayed quiet because well, I find it awkward when I give personal information to my parents. I actually don't know why.

"Oh! I need to owl someone," I told my parents as an excuse to get out of there. Well I actually did need to owl someone.

I finished my letter and gave it to Noah, who wasn't in the mood. "Come on Noah! Just this once! I'll give you an extra mouse if you want it!" The owl seemed curious and his expression was as if to raise an eyebrow.

  "I'll go get it!" I raced downstairs to our sort of owlrey place. I grabbed a mouse and ran upstairs, "Here it is! And it's all yours it you deliver that letter!" Noah accepted the offer and ran off to deliver it.

  I was feeling like taking a nap and so I did. It wasn't the best plan since it meant that i would wake up at 2-4am. Nonetheless, I slept.

I woke up and noticed that Noah still hadn't been back. That was odd. As expected, it was 3am. I summoned my broom and snuck off to the Potters residence. I knocked lightly on the window, and James popped his head into view.

  "Couldn't sleep either?" He asked me as I slipped through the window. "I did, but woke up again."

  "What have you two done these past.....hours?" I said realizing that we hadn't even been out of Hogwarts for a day.

  "Nothing. It's really boring without you, Moony, and Wormtail actually." He said, "Of course, we're the best."

  "Yeah, yeah." Prongs said flatly. "Come on, you know you love me," "Sure."

  After we saw the sun rising and realized that, 1, it was 5am, and 2, that we had spent all night talking, I decided to go back to my house.

  "Bye Prongs, tell Padfoot I love him." I said getting on my broomstick, "What about me?" He whined. "I love you too." Prongs smiled and I left.

  I went in and saw Noah there, with an letter attached to his leg. "Damn it! Sorry Noah!" I said in a rushed whisper.

  I opened it and saw Mad Eye Moody's reply. He had agreed to train me.

  My parents were Healers, so they really didn't want me to be an auror with all of the injuries I could get. I didn't really care, but they seemed this behavior as "rebelling" and weren't paying attention to what I wanted. Pads had invited me on a date in Diagon Alley, which would be an amazing time to try for some part-time jobs.

  Lily was also been around with James as well. Her mother and father passed away had been killed by death eaters. She was lucky to escape since she had foolishly tried to fight them off, I swear that girl.

  Lily has since then moved in with James temporarily. Prongs' mother hasn't been looking good either. Mrs. Potter has been in St. Mungos for over a week, and the Healers have diagnosed her with Dragon Pox. My mum has suspected that she has it since Mr. Potter had it too.

It was Saturday, and my parents had left for work and my brother had gone somewhere with his friends, as an owl delivered the daily prophet. I gave it a few knuts and it went away.

BREAKING NEWS: MUGGLE FAMILY KILLED

I knew the paper was either about Lily's family, or someone else. Lily did tell me that Petunia, her sister hadn't been there and had no idea of the accident, until she had arrived a few hours later. Indeed, it had been about Lily's family. I decided not to read it and left it on the counter. I walked over to the Potters residence since Sirius wanted us to go somewhere.

I had an idea of were I had wanted to bring him, later on. That's only if he's as punk rock as he says he is.

I knocked and Lily opened, "Hey," she greeted, "Hi Lils." Prongs came down and greeted me as well. "We were just heading out to St. Mungos. Do you want to come?" Prongs asked me, "No I'm just here for Pads."

He made kissing noises and Lily playfully punched him lightly on the shoulder. "Stop you're embarrassing me."

"Yeah, you're stuck with that child."
