Lumos ⤳ sirius black

Chapter 24, Animagi.

A/N: I think that you ALL know what this chapters going to be about. ;) btw at the beginning I'm going to do a big of a recap.

Summer went by quick and soon they were at Hogwarts. Sirius had moved in with the potters as well. A month later, in Mid October they had finally done it, they had become Animagi.

*Lucys POV*

We followed the exact steps and I soon felt that I was morphing. I was on four legs and I saw everybody else. James was a stag, Peter a rat, and Sirius a dog. A humongous one actually. I looked at the mirror and saw that I was a (dun dun dun)

Black wolf.

   I had my hazel green eyes, (they were that color at the moment), and I had a marking(they were grey) of the scars I had on my "wolf wrists."
Also, I looked like a shadow, which was pretty good considering what we were doing.We turned back and Remus stood still in amazement. We all high fived each other and thought of code names.

  "Well, for obvious reasons, I think that Remus should be called 'Moony'." I pointed out. There were mutters Of agreement. "Wormtail for Peter," James pointed out, "Prongs for James," Sirius pointed out, "Padfoot for Sirius," Moony said and they all looked at me. Deep in thought I said that we should also see other languages.

  I went over to my bedside table and saw my Latin book that my parents had given me. "I knew this would come in handy!" I muttered.

  "Aha!" I yelled out making others jump, "I can combine these words, Lupus," I said sniggering, "And umbra, it means shadow." "So Lumos?" Prongs said jokingly. "I would pick that name just to make your wand light up." I said smirking, "But I was thinking something else."

  We all went into deep thought of how we could put the words together and then Prongs blurted out, "Lumos!" "Really Prongs? Yes it's Perfect!" "Alright then!l

We all ran to the loose flooring that we had broken in our 2nd year, and where we stashed the Marauders map that was in making.

  It was about 12am, when we had done it. "I solemnly swear that I am  up to no good." Moony said and there it was, "Messers Moony, Wormtail, Padfoot, Prongs, and Mesdame Lumos Proudly present the Marauders map." We all cheered and went to sleep.

  I woke up in sweat, it was that time of the year again. Not my period, that was another time but the thingy majigy that happened in Halloween. I quickly took a shower and laid down in my bed as a wolf. Sirius had woken up, also in a sweat, but I suspect that it was the reason that made him run away from home. He looked at my bed confused until he saw my eyes and calmed down. I whimpered a bit as if saying, "What's wrong?" He shook his head and whispered that it was nothing. He left for the shower and I stayed there, stubbornly. He came out with a messy bun and some casual clothes. I changed and asked him for reals now.

   "I know you better than that Padfoot." I told him sighing, "What happened?" He confessed and blinked back tears at some point. He eventually said that he didn't really care, only for Regulus but that it still hurt remembering his reaction.

  "It's in the past Sirius." I said softly and we slept together accidentally, my hand stroking his hair and his hand clutching my hips.

"You owe me a sickle Moony," Prongs suddenly said, making me rub my eyes and  jolt up. "Ouch!" Exclaimed Padfoot because I had hit him with my knee.

Moony laughed and Prongs smirked winking at me. I growled and threw myself at him, which he clearly didn't see coming. I pinned him down, and now Moony, Wormtail, and Padfoot were laughing like crazy.

He tried to stare me down, but I stared him down winning and getting off of him, Moony high fived me and Prongs looked down, blushing.

  We went to breakfast and said in code that we were changing because of the animals we "liked."

  "Think about it," I said, "Prongs here tried to stare me down, stags do that for.....something I don't remember."

   "And I," I thought about it, "Growled at him?" Sirius snickered and I nudged him. "You probably have some of those traits too." Peter looked confused, "Then what traits would I have?" We were all deep in thought when Moony said, "I don't really know but it might be because you like cheese?" We all agreed and went back to talking about normal things.

  "Are we going to the Hogsmeade weekend?" Prongs said quietly. "You guys could go," I said, "I'm not going." We continued to eat in silence. "I'm staying with Lumos then." Padfoot said. We nodded and continued to eat in silence. I got up and left for the common room.

   I made a beeline for the dorm and cursed at myself.

You can't keep living like this!
For once, she's right!
Yeah 'once'.
Fine second time,
Mmmhmm

   I heard a whimpered and saw that a black dog had his snout on my stomach. "What do you want Si?"

  "You need to go to hogsmeade Lums." "I don't think so." "Come on!" "No." "You can't keep living like this!" "You're right, I can't." He shut up when I said that. I was playing with his hair when Lily came up.

  "Why aren't you going to Hogsmeade this weekend?" "I can't." Sirius shook his head slightly. Lily nodded and left. "Are you mad at me Sirius?" He looked up at me, "I could never get mad at you." I smiled slightly and took out my transfiguration book, "We've got to start studying for our O.W.Ls."
