Chapter 26, Beginnings.

*Lucys POV*

"Oi! Wake up!" Prongs yelled. I rubbed my eyes and saw that me and Padfoot were a bit, uh, tangled, in each other. "Wait are you two, something?" I quickly panicked and changed the subject.

"It's Halloween today isn't it?" "Yes." "Did you wake me for the Hogsmeade trip?" "Er, yeah." "The answer is still no." "Come on, even Moony is coming!" "No." "Fine, Oi! Padfoot!" "Yeah?" Pads mumbled, "Are you coming to Hogsmeade today?"

"Is it Halloween?"
"Yes."
"Then no."
"But,"
"No."
"Ugh, you guys are no fun." And with that he left.

Today was the first snow of the season, and it was still pretty heavy. Me and Padfoot were walking to the black lake.

"Are we something?" I blurted out. "Do you want to be something?" I thought about it, "I, I think I do." "Think?" "I do." "That's what you'll say at our wedding you know?" "I hope I do say it." And with that i leaned in for a kiss, once more.

We eventually got into a snowball fight which some people got into too. Sirius wanted the Slytherin out, but I wouldn't let him, he was a first year after all. We didn't even know who won, it was all just messy.

We all gave up when it was time to have dinner. I cleaned myself up and we both entered the great hall laughing. Nobody paid much attention to us except Moony, Wormtail, and Prongs.

"There you guys are! We've been looking everywhere for you two!" Prongs said, "Prongs, we haven't even been here for 30 min, stop exaggerating!" Moony interrupted. "Oops."

  "Do you think that Moony knows?" I asked Padfoot, we were in the hideout my head in his lap. "Knows what?" He asked while stroking my hair. "Knows that he made it 10x worse in that day?" "No, and I don't think you should tell him, he has enough guilt for being a werewolf." "You're right."

  I was going over to the black lake to get under the tree. Not the Whomping Willow, the one that's near the Black lake. I had sat down under it, bringing my textbooks and a sandwich with me. It was supposed to be lunch but I used it studying. Lame but, hey, I want a good career and I still don't know what. So, my solution to that is to make sure I got lots of O.W.Ls.

"Hey,"
"Go away Padfoot."
"Why?"
"I need to study."
"I'll study with you."
"Fine."

I moved away and he sat down, "I need you to test me with these." I gave him flash cards and he read what it said and I answered correctly.

"Have you guys studied?" I asked Prongs, Wormtail, and Moony, which in return said, "I don't need to study," "A little bit I guess." "Yeah, I was with you." "Moony, I know that you've studied. Prongs, get a move on. Wormtail, I can help you."

"Hey! What about Pads?!" Prongs asked, "He's studied with me." "More like forced me too." Padfoot muttered, I nudged him which earned a sly smirk appear across his face.

While in Transfiguration, McGonagall started to test us more, we could all tell she was just trying to help us.

"Can someone tell me the differences between Animagi and Werewolves?" (Animagi are in the transfiguration class so...)

Remus' hand shot up next to me and I saw from across the classroom that Padfoot smirked. I could tell Minnie had slightly predicted this happening cause, actually I think the reasons are obvious.

"Animagi are wizards who voluntarily chose to transform into animals, like yourself," Moony added, "Werewolves however have no choice from the time they are bit." He concluded, "Very well Mr. Lupin, 10 points to Gryffindor."

"Good job Moony," I whispered, "It was rather easy you see." He said with a grin.

Even though the O.W.Ls were a good 3-4 months away, I studied even more, and Lily was with me this time. We were under a tree just outside the Great Hall, so just in case we got hungry we could just walk in and walk out. Lily was just as determined to get as many OWLs as I was so, we didn't get any interruptions. Lily was the best with the body binding curse.

The first OWLs we studied on were charms, just to make sure even though it was our best subject. Lily however needed help with Astronomy so I helped her. I wasn't in Divination, and Lily was a bit frustrated with that subject.

"I just don't get it! It really weird," Lily said, "Can't you just make up something?" I asked, "Maybe."
