*Lucys POV*
"I really think you should ask him Padfoot. Maybe you'll be able to fix things."
"I don't know, I'm just torn. I know he'll say something about my mother and father and I just don't feel like dealing with it."
I felt pity for him, he wanted to be with Regulus, something of an 'Happily ever after' but with his own conditions."You should at least try to hear him out Pads," I suggested, "Maybe your family does miss you, but they just want it in..the traditional way."
"Yeah, that's not happening anytime soon," He got out of the chair and almost had left the room when I asked him, "Not even for Regulus?""Maybe."
'Maybe' was not what I had in mind, I needed a yes. If I needed a yes, I should know that I'll get a yes. I took out my quill and wrote my own letter to Regulus.
~*~
I heard Noah tap on the window with about a dozen replies, and a strange owl next to him with about 5 more.
I opened the window and took the letters, gave some food and water to him and his new friend and let the other owl go back to it's owner.
I read all of the letters, and all of them had said yes. From Minnie, Hagrid, Dumbledore, Molly and Arthur, Frank and Alice, Remus' parents although they weren't sure if his mum was going to make it, Peter and his family, and I don't how many more people.
Merlin, planning a wedding is exhausting.
I woke up and found a letter from Regulus, but it was opened already.
"You wrote to him?" Sirius asked, "Of course I did, you wouldn't! What was I supposed to do?"
"I don't know, maybe at least tell me?!" Padfoot yelled, "I couldn't do that, you would never let me! I'm just trying to fix things in between you guys! He deserves a chance Sirius!"
James and Lily came in with some treats, when they noticed us fighting. They looked at us and left, probably just hiding behind the door.
"But not like this! Lucy we are going to be married in less than 2 weeks now, we're supposed to be working things out like married couples would do!"
"Sirius, Regulus deserves to have a chance! I just need you to give him one, please!"
"He wants us to invite," It stayed quiet while he thought of a word to call his parents, "Them. I don't want to ruin our wedding, and apparently my father is sick and is going to die soon.""At least try, Sirius. Please, for me?" He sighed, "I'll try, but it doesn't look good so far."
"Write to him. Explain it to Regulus, he deserves to be at our wedding.""I'll write to him if that makes you happy, alright?" Sirius said, finally giving in. "Yeah, that would make me happy," I admitted.
"Can we come in now?" Prongs' muffled voice said from behind the front door, "James!" Lily said, followed by a sound of someone hitting something. "Ow!"
The door opened to, of course, Lils and Prongs. "Yeah, you're already in so," I said as Padfoot snickered. "You were just like him when they got into a fight you know."
"Yeah, but Moony and Wormtail were there as well. And we were in front of them!" Pads pointed out, "But we did do the same thing."
"Yeah, whatever."~*~
Auror business has never been harder since the war was worsening with every day. Plus, the Order was not making it easier. Often, I would come back to an empty home and empty Lily and Prongs house, finding out that the Order had them in an mission and that they had one for me as well.
And with the wedding in about a week, I would be a married woman.
