Chapter 32, Finally!

*Lucys POV*

  It was the day that I had waited for 3 months. September 1st. I went with the Potters, Prongs and Padfoot and I were neighbors. My siblings could take care of themselves anyways. Miguel had been gone for a while now so it was only my 2 other brothers. Prongs was like my other brother. Padfoot was much more, and it was secret and we both hated it. We had gone star gazing and talked about it.

[Flashback]

"Should we tell anyone yet?" Padfoot Asked.
"Maybe."
"What about Prongs? And Moony? Wormtail?"
"Lily?"
"Yeah, her too."
We had all dreaded for this moment, were we had to be committed. I didn't mind as much I thought that I would've to be honest though.

[End Of Extremely Short Flashback]

We decided to do it this year, when the timing felt right.
As usual we went to the one at the very end. We had carved our names on it last year. I had fallen asleep halfway through the ride and Padfoot had woken me up.

"Let's go."

The feast was pretty good, but I hadn't slept since I had too many thoughts. I decided to read my Potions book. I had gotten 8 O.W.Ls which was good since I had 8 classes.

It was about 2am when I realized that there was a black dog on my bed. I started to pet it and eventually rubbed its belly. I think Sirius was very happy with this. I eventually fell asleep though.

"Well, this is a bit of a resting year isn't it?" Lily had said. She was starting to get in good conditions with all of us, including James. James, I tell you.

"Yeah, next year we have to take our N.E.W.Ts." I said to her.
"So, how was your summer?" She asked, "It was fine. A bit annoying but James and Sirius made it less of a torture." Lily was about to say something when Professor McGonagall started giving us our schedules.

All of us had Advanced Potions, except for Peter. I had advanced everything, and had Astrology by myself. We had, transfiguration, Herbology, DADA, and Charms together, (as well as Peter,) and Ancient Runes had me, Moony, and Lily. Our first class were Potions, and Professor Slughorn had put us into partners.

Lily and Prongs, Moony and a girl named Emma, Wormtail with a boy called Todd, and me and Padfoot. We were instructed to do a Shrinking Solution. After 45 minutes, Slughorn tested it out and said that ours (mine and Padfoots,) had been the best. He told Lily, Prongs, Padfoot,  and me to stay behind.

"Don't think you're in trouble, I wanted to invite you 4 to the Slug club!" When asked what it was, Slughorn replied with, "It is a club for my brightest students, and the first meeting will be on Sunday,"

Padfoot and Prongs declined, but Lily and me accepted it. "Look for my owl then!" And with that we left to Transfiguration class. We quickly sat down next to Moony and Wormtail, explaining what had happened.

  We had gone to Quidditch practice right after. James had become Captain after all. I got the position of course, but everyone was mumbling that I only got it because I was his friend. The rest of the day had gone quickly and I was soon looking at the painting of the sea on my corner. I didn't realize that Padfoot had gotten up here until he bumped into me.

"Bloody hell Padfoot, you almost gave me a heart attack." I whispered. He smirked leaned on my shoulder. We quickly fell asleep, tangled on each other.
