*Lucys POV*
Taking care of Sirius was the hardest thing I've had to do, trust me.
"Sirius it won't hurt!"
"Get that away from me!"I sighed and got the cold towel away from him.
"Thank you."
"Don't celebrate too early Pads."
"Wait wh-"I threw the towel onto him as he made a big fuss of it.
"It's just water. I thought dogs like water?"
"Warm, Lucy, warm water! Not cold water! It's bloody freezing!"
"Stop making so much fuss, Si. It's not that bad."Using the nickname Si always seemed to show some type of emotion which made him understand.
"Oh, alright."
"Thank Merlin."
"Don't you start celebrating too early."
"Uh huh."Knowing Sirius, he threw some freezing water at me which made me flinch. I tried to not show anything but that I was calm, which freaked him out.
"Are you bloody immune to cold water?"
"Perhaps."~*~
Cuddled up next to the fire was certainly comfortable. Sirius leaning on me while I was talking to him was definitely the highlight of my week.
"Hey Si?"
"Hm?"
"Are you feeling ok?"
"Better than ok."~*~
Sirius healed pretty quickly. He also stayed home while I had to work.
"Stay. Please?"
"Sirius."
"Please?"
"I'll try to get out of work early, but I'm afraid that that's it."
"Good enough."
"Plus, the others are going to come soon. Alright?"
"Ok."
"Thank you."
"Hey."
"Yeah?"
"I love you."
"I love you too."He pulled me in for a kiss that I, unfortunately, had to break apart.
"Ok, I'm ser- going to be late for work."
"Almost fell into that trap didn't we?"
"Yes we almost did."~*~
Once I came back, Sirius was huddled in a blanket hogging up the whole couch while the others were sitting on the floor with some tea in their hands.
"Long day?" James asked.
"Too long." I replied.Lily looked like she was going to burst.
"I'm going to get married!"
"Yes you are! Exciting, isn't it?"She nodded happily. "Phew, I'm glad I got that out of my chest."
Moony sat there looking awfully sick.
"Hey moons, you alright there?"
"Yeah."The full moon was getting closer and closer, and while we all anticipated it, Moony had just been getting it worse and worse.
Stressing out because of his mother getting even more ill, not being able to get a job because of his werewolf part, was just absolute hell.
Lily and James had to go rather quickly since they had something to do apparently.
As Sirius stirred in his sleep, Moony, Wormtail, and me talked about everything.
"Hey, moons?" I said.
"Yeah?"
"Why are you all worked up?"
"It's...nothing."
"Come on Moony. Lucy is right, what's wrong?" Wormtail added.
"Just the full moon." He replied rather quickly.
"Remus Moony Lupin, Don't you dare tell me it's just the full moon."
"I'm just stressed."
"And why's that?" Wormtail asked. He explained to us about what I had theorized before. He was worried about his mother, preoccupied with finding a job, helping out the Order of the Phoenix, and the full moon was in 2 days.
Wormtail surprisingly did most of the talking while I let Moony hug me in my animagus form, as it helps.
"Moony, Wormtail's right, don't be so hard on yourself." Sirius said. I stood up and made my way to him.
"Feeling better?"
"Loads."
"You Moony?"
"Some." He shrugged.~*~
Months passed by, and we were going to a meeting about the Order of the Phoenix. Lily was thrilled about it, while I, being the introvert I could be, when I wanted to wasn't so much.
"Come on! It's not going to be that dull!"
"Most parties are Lils."
After forcing me to go with them, we met a lot of people like Gideon and Fabian Prewett. We also formally met the McKinnons....and those are the only people I remember.
My bad.
