*Lucys POV*

"You know, I would've thought that you would say something else other than, 'Will you marry me?'."

"Well sorry I'm not that good at verbally expressing myself."

"You had to add that verbally didn't you?"

He smiled mischievously.

"Yeah I did!"

While having a last walk with Padfoot at the beach, I was dramatically saying goodbye to everything.

"Goodbye beautiful clouds. Goodbye trees. Goodbye French air. Goodbye ocean. Goodbye—"

"You're so dramatic." Sirius bluntly said, "No more than you sir," I scoffed.

  "We'll be back, that's all I'm saying."

"We are?"

"Yeah, of course. I know how much you love this place."

"I'll wait for you here," I said planting myself in the beach, looking at some boats that were way out there. "In life, and during death."

"I will too." Padfoot said, "Whether in love, or in love."

"That's the same thing you idiot."

"First of all, I'm not an idiot." Sirius pointed out. I scoffed and started to say something when he pointed out something else.

"Second of all, that's called flirting in case you didn't know.

"Third of all, it's because I'll always love you."

Finally the last day arrived, and with it it brought Sirius' birthday. We were walking to the hotel after spending the day in the beach.

"Prongs wants to propose to Red." He said, greeting someone that he probably didn't know.

"Really?" I asked, "Yeah, I helped pick a ring. Apparently, 'I'm way better," he said, "You actually are," I said bringing my left hand so he could see.

"This is not something that would be picked out by a normal person."

"And I, Sirius Black, am not normal?"

"For starters, normal is an insult to me, Second, you're going to be a Black no matter what. Sure, you might be called a traitor or whatever, but being a Black is not a normal thing."

"Yeah, you're right."

"We're also animgai so," I pointed out, "And— Wait is that?"

And so I saw my family looking at Lily and James.

With that, I bolted off, Padfoot right behind me. "We'll be fine, you'll be fine." He reassured after he finally caught up with me outside our room.

"Does this," I pointed to myself specifically to my face, "Look fine, or even ok, to you? Because if it does," Padfoot cut in, "You're right, you're not fine, you're beautiful."

I felt heat in my cheeks which made me go, "Damn you Sirius," which only made him wear a bigger smirk, "Already am, darling."

In the morning, we all went down to breakfast and I was on edge and fidgeting so much that everyone was getting tired of me.

"Would you just stop?"
"Yeah, they probably aren't even down here yet."
'They're probably not even up yet!"

As Moony said that the hotel doors opened to reveal no more than my whole family.

"Shit!" I swore. "Relax, they probably aren't even paying atten— fuck they're looking this way!"

And so everyone turned to the opposite side, not too sudden to be suspicious, but barely in time.

I heard them laugh away, and talk about staying a week here. They know I'm here, I'm 100% sure.

"They know I'm here," I said, banging my head on the table. "How do you know?" Lily asked, "Did you hear about what they were talking about?"

"Yeah," said James, "The way they were speaking, I'm sure America heard them."

We all stared at Prongs and Padfoot until they realized why they talked like that.

"Oh!"

After that disaster, we had to come back home, where James had a surprise for Lily.

It was late in the night, nearly early in the morning when Prongs told me about it. We were in the couch, the fireplace warm, and I had a blanket around me, and I was starting to get hot, but I loved being hugged by blankets.

"I want Lily to be my wife." Prongs said suddenly, catching me off guard. "What? That's great! Why haven't you proposed to her earlier?"

"Well, I wanted to propose to her about 2 months ago, but Padfoot came up with the idea first." He explained, "That bastard planned it to the..spot."

"He did?" I asked, feeling flattered. "Yeah, he'd been planning since we had graduated and he even helped me."

A lynx patronus arrived and spoke in Kingsley's voice. "Lucy, we need you down here, it's an emergency."

The patronus gave an address and left.

"I need to go. I'll be fine, I love you! Tell everyone the same!"

And so, I left.
