*Lucys POV*

As Lily's due date was approaching, we all became anxious as mine was nearing too.

James and Sirius both went on making plans incase anything happened with either baby. Lily decided to have a small baby shower just with her close friends. It almost broke my heart when she didn't bother to invite Petunia.

Petunia had already been invited to Lily and James's wedding and she had declined. Everything Lily did, she wanted to share with her sister because she wanted to share her world with her sister.

And she didn't even care enough to show up to her wedding. Lily somehow still had a positive view of her sister, when she had done the complete opposite for her.

Sometimes I'd pity her, but Lily's the one that doesn't want Petunia in the bad light, meaning it's a choice that Lily has taken.

Meanwhile, me and Sirius had decided that he would go on with the Order while I'd take care of Lyra. Enjoying the days until he'd be gone, we usually spent almost all the time we could together.

Summer fast approached, and we were soon in the middle of it.

"Are you nervous?" Peter asked Lily one day.

"Yes," She said, "a lot. But it'll be fine. Right?" Lily looked at all of us frantically.

"Yes!"

"Yes, of course."

"Uh, yeah."

"Why wouldn't it?"

Moony turned to me, "What about you?"

"It's really just everything after it," I said, "But I'm fine."

I had made myself a ham and cheese sandwich and looked saw something under the bed. I tried to pick it up, but since I was near bursting, it was almost impossible. Until I did it. And it was just a.... deformed hat.

About to try to get comfortable in my bed, Sirius entered the room, sighed, and flopped down on the bed, nearly pushing me off.

"Oh shit, sorry Lucy," He laughed, rushing to help me.

"'S fine, but I don't think Lyra would've forgiven you." I said, as I could feel her kicking.

"You nervous?"

"Not really. I'm ready for all of this to be over already. I loved the idea of pregnancy at the beginning, but everything hurts right now."

"Well, there's only a week left, so I'm sure you'll survive."

"I'm pretty sure I won't. But then again, it's a week. What could possibly go wrong in a week?"

And I was wrong.

Not really, actually, but there was nothing I could actually eat. Everything tasted badly in my opinion, and I was driving Sirius crazy. I was driving myself crazy.

And Lily was worse.

If the end of the pregnancy didn't boost her temper, it would've been James.

Poor James, he as trying his best, but apparently, his best wasn't enough.

James, Sirius, and apparently Frank had perfected the procedure of what would happen when we went into labor.

Alice was now getting ready to burst as well with us.

As the end of July arrived, we had all been anxiously waiting for it to be over with.

On the 30th of July at 5:18am, we received an owl saying that Frank and Alice's son, Neville, has been born.

Naturally, we all rushed to the hospital and met him and saw Frank and Alice.

When we arrived, they were both glowing, their smile from ear to ear. Alice had been in labor for merely 3 hours, compared to the people that had 6-8 hours of labor.

Neville had chubby cheeks, and beautiful eyes. Apparently he had been born with his eyes open, which was cool. I could definitely see him as their son, as he looked like a perfect mixture of the both of them.

He had Franks nose, Alice's eyes, both of their smiles (even though he hadn't smiled yet) and he was overall very cute.

We hung out there for about an hour before they kicked us out, which was very welcoming.

"I can't believe little Neville's already born, and to think that'll be us in a few days."

A few days.

"I mean, yeah a few days."

He turned his head. "You okay?"

"Just nervous."

"It'll be fine, okay? I'll make sure nothing happens to you."

"That's because you won't have a baby coming out of your vagina."

He laughed, "True, but also because I love you."

Sirius leaned in and kissed me.

"Why are you crying?"

"I don't know, I don't want to." I said, tears streaming down my face. "I can't wait for this to be over with."
