Lumos ⤳ sirius black

Chapter 15, Back once more.

    *Lucys POV*

  So, it was September 1st, and I was waiting to go into platform 9 and 3/4. Sirius had came to visit me and told me that he moved into the Potters' Manor. It was next door after all. I scouted the rest of the Marauders and we sat were we usually sat.

The ride to Hogwarts was pretty quick, and this year we were taking the carriages. I walked up to them and saw a horse, but a zombie horse of some sort. I then remembered, I saw my uncle die this summer, I had witnessed death. It was a thresteral. I started to pet it and James looked at me like I was crazy.

"Why are you touching the air?" Asked James, "It's not the air," I said pretty calmly, "It's a thesteral." 

"A What?" 

"I'll tell you later." 

After we got into the carriage and I told him why, what, and how a thesteral, well, er, was, he finally understood. "I thought you were going crazy."

  At breakfast, a Ravenclaw student I know to be called Cece, handed me a letter,

      From Professor Dumbledore

   A new student from Beauxbatons is transferring over to Hogwarts, and while I can't give you most details, she is in 4th year, making it that we made a miscalculation. I wanted to ask you if you wanted to share the male dormitory with your friends. (Remus, James, Sirius, and Peter.) There is an empty bed in there. I'm sure they'll be delighted to receive this news if you say yes.

I looked up, locked eyes with Albus and mouthed yes.

  When we were going to our dorms, I had already told Lily about the news, but the catch is that I hadn't told the Marauders.
"Oi!" James said, "Your dorm is in the other side!" I smiled and said, "Not anymore." I took the letter out and read it out loud. "That's a relief," Sirius started, "We usually do all our planning here."

It was the first week back, and we already had tons of homework. "Why are we still taking divination?" Asked Sirius to James, "I honestly have no idea mate." Replied James. "And that's the reason why I didn't take it. It's pretty stupid to be honest." I told them. I had taken Care of Magical Creatures and Study of Ancient Runes.

   I was pretty psyched, the next Hogsmeade weekend was in two weeks, and of course, we had practice for Quidditch in a week.

   I had a really terrible summer. I felt a bit depressed to be honest. Ok, I'm exaggerating but, how would you feel if your uncle who had died that summer, that specific uncle that had always been with you for as long as you could remember.

"Lucy?" said Peter softly, "What?" They looked at me expectantly. "I didn't hear you at all." I said looking at two idiots who were smiling. "We need you to help us for a prank." "Ok."

    "I should've said no right?" I asked Remus who was right next to me. "Yeah, wasn't your best idea." I scoffed and pointed out that he was agreeing with us becoming animagi.

     "True," Remus said, "but, you guys had that idea." He said raising his eyebrows. "I will win sometime," I pledged, my hand over my heart, "I will win."

"Stop being so dramatic,"
"That's like you asking me to kiss Severus, that's a no!."

  "James!" I yelled as I darted for the boys' common room, "We're going to be late!" "Coming!" "Ugh!" We, of course, were going to be late for Quidditch practice.

Remus, Sirius, and Peter had gone to the library to find more information about the animagi. We had a mandrake leaf, stuck to the roof of our tongue, in order to speak and to eat.

"James!" I yelled again, "Hurry up!" He ruffled his hair once more. "Ok, I'm ready."

There was a game coming up, in 2 weeks. The good thing is that it was right after the Hogsmeade trip. We train as hard as we could, and trust me, it was a pain literally. About 3 people went to the hospital wing. The only break we took from weekend training was the Hogsmeade weekend. It was just right around the corner and frankly we deserved it.

"Freedom!" I yelled with my hands up in the air, "Stop being so dramatic." said Sirius, "First Of all, you're Sirius which means that you're a drama queen too, second of all, you have no idea what a pain Quidditch has been."

"She's right mate," James said, "three kids got sent to the hospital wing."
"Ha!"
