10 days..

Chae and I have been trying to find HaLi in the undergrounds..

We've scoured the whole area of where we live and still no sign of her.

"UGH! Stop being so dramatic chimmy! Like she could be in Daegu for fucks sake!" Chae complained,

I glared at her, HaLi's last text was on our anniversary..

"No! damn it Chae! You know well that HaLi texted me waiting for me a Paris Cafe!"

"Well we're freaking underneath the closest underground entrance! Ten days! She could be in Incheon!"

I stayed silent.  She was right.  We weren't far from Incheon and it was possible that HaLi walked there at the underground.

Suddenly, a preteen girl came running down.

"THE MOON RAIN IS GONE! We'Re safe to go outside now!"

the quiet place was suddenly filled with loud cheers and murmurs, until the police came.

"There are people that did not make it.. We will go out first to ensure safety and collect the people that have died." The crowd didn't argue as the group of police opened the latch.

|5 hours

Chad and I waited although all she did was complain on how long they were taking.

But thankfully, the group of people who went out came back full of dirt.

"We are devastated to say that there is a total of 96 people whose bodies we found." they bowed as the survivors created Aline going outside.

As soon as we got out, Chae and I headed straight to the corpses found.

There was already a group of people mourning for their lost ones.

They separated the one that were identified and the ones that weren't

Suddenly, I saw Chae kneeling beside a corpse holding their hand

"H-Hali" she choked on her tears.
My head snapped up

"Hali!?" I ran to her and fell down beside her

"T-this is h-Hali" she said tears still flowing down.

She pointed to the wrist, "I m-made that b-bracelet..", then she showed her wrist, "and she made t-this"

By now Chae was a total wreck, muttering that she shouldn't have betrayed her friend and hit on her fiancé

"I- I sh-shouldn't have- y- you were her -f-fiancé"

I pulled my hair

regret filling  my system

I shouldn't have cheated

If I was with her, maybe 

just maybe,

she would still be alive
