Part 2 nobody asked for of Midnight Beauty

Shane had never wanted to be seen transforming. His beast form was ugly and why would anyone want to see him become that thing?

That person was Prince Conor.

He was basically- as much as Shane tried not thinking about it- was in love with the beast form. Shane couldn't disagree, he was more superior that way but Conor... Conor took that an extra step.

They had started dating after the ball events. Conor never proded Shane about his beast for except for the occasional times he seen it. Shane let Conor inspect him. Hands feeling up the scales and gently caressing his hands. Shane wasn't blind or weak in his sense of smell in either form.  He knew how much the Prince loved the other form, he reeked of desire.

Conor popped the question one day on a stroll in the woods near his house.

The leaves were damp as fall drew near to a close and winter was coming near. It meant Shane would be sleeping soon too. His human body had the same blood as his reptile body, cold blooded and like all reptiles in the winter. Shane would eat as nuch as he could and go to sleep for the next three months. His body forced a shift upon him and he'd pass out.

Shane had told Conor this and immediately regretted it a few days later.

---

They stood in a room Conor had been given to him willingly by his father. He had asked for it after all. Shane stared at the large heaps of food on the table. This thing had been going on for a few weeks now. Shane would come to the room in castle, Conor would have it filled with food, Shane had to eat as much as he could and it was obvious he had been eating a lot.

Conor popped the question as he passed a plate with a large ham on it to his boyfriend "So I was thinking but maybe, when you go to hibernate you could stay at the castle with me?" He suggested.

Shane had forced down a bite of food, he knew he was going to pass out from this soon, the feeling of needing to shift twinge in his bones. The darker blond looked at the table "I don't really think so, my uncle wants me at home when I- I-" he stopped and took in a shuddering breath. It was there, the twinge getting stronger. He stood, his breath coming out in soft pants "I need to leave like right now," he stated.

Conor sprung up to his feet, excitement briefly crossed over his face "Is it beginning?" He asked but already knew the answer.

Shane took a few steps but Conor had caught his arm. The Prince was smiling like a child that had just gotten what they wanted for their Christmas present. He tugged Shane to a bed that had been set off next to a wall in the room "You'll want to lie down, I won't be able to move you fell asleep while trying to leave," he said.

Shane looked at Conor "H- how? What?" He asked, his mind was sleepy. The cursed boy leaned onto other boy. His body was tired and demanded he stopped moving so it could rest.

Conor held fast to Shane, barely pushing him onto the bed. He paused then began working on remove the boots. Shane whined and tried pulling his feet up but Conor kept them down "Behave, it's just a potion. You'll feel fine when it's over," he reassured.

Shane shifted after the boots were removed, his feet rapidly changing without the tight restraints on "Pot... ion...?" He muttered back.

Conor had removed his own boots and the coat so he was in slightly comfortable clothing, he got on the bed "Just to speed up your transformation and hibernation process, nothing big," he replied.

Shane whined. He knew something had been off, he never went into hibernation early. Conor pushed a few strands of Shane's hair back "How?" He muttered. Sleep was dragging him further and further into its clutches.

Conor gave him a soft kiss on the cheek "It was in the food and your drink," he replied.

The last of the changes settled in. His teeth sharpened, his eyes became slits, and the last few scales covered his large muzzle. Shane grumbled something but fell asleep as soon as it was over.

Conor had a letter sent to Shane's uncle to make him aware, his nephew wasn't going to be home for winter but instead he'd be sleeping in the castle.
