Drain My Soul

Jesper felt dizzy as he stumbled through the hall. He hadn't been feeling so good. Maui had gotten hurt to badly during his solo mission. The earth master had hoped that it wasn't as bad as he thought but now he heavily doubted that.

Tipu entered the hall with a smile. It dropped as Jesper leaned on the hall "it- hurts." he said.

The mind master caught him in an instant "What happened?" He asked, panic obvious in his voice.

Jesper winced as the dazed feeling became a pounding head ache. He heaved in a shaky breath "Maui, she got hurt- badly hurt- I got her into hidden form but it was too deep-" he stopped as the pain bore down on him. It felt like his skull was shrinking and his brain was too big for it.

Tipu held him steady "Jesper, I think-"

Jesper shook his head "No, no, no, no more death. I don't want anyone else dying on me," he begged. He knew Tipu was right but Jesper didn't want to believe it. First his mom died and now his familiar was dead. Dead and Jesper had foolishly called her into hidden form.

Just like how Tipu paid for killing his master, Jesper was going to pay for calling his deceased familiar into hidden.

Tipu gave him a small tug "You need to lie down," he said.

Jesper struggled but they eventually got to his room. Tipu had laid him in his bed "Just stay here, I'll inform the others of your mission status," he said.

Jesper whined as he curled up into a ball under his blanket. Tipu patted his shoulder softly then left. The change had already begun winding itself through Jesper's veins and magic. He felt so tired and done with everything. Jesper fell asleep as the change twisted around inside of him and outside of him.

Jesper woke up feeling empty. It felt weird and tingly. He went to run his hand into his hair but was stopped by something on his head. Hard and bumpy things that rose up from his head. Jesper held his breath as he hurried out of bed to the mirror he kept on his desk.

Jesper screamed seeing what had happen to him.

Tipu bust into the room an instant later in full Angwu form. He snarled looking around until he spotted Jesper. Or at least the thing that looked like Jesper.

He had long horns, floppy gazelle ears, and full dark brown eyes that almost looked black. He had a small tail too.

Tipu covered his mouth as he shrank back to his human form. He shouldn't he laughing but it looked to adorable.

Jesper was frowning "I'm an Ic! I don't want to be an ic!" He complained. His ears had flipped up then down rapidly. Tipu snorted as he tried holding back his laugh. Jesper frowned deeper as his eyes watered "Its not funny, my familiar is dead now Tipu," he said.

The mind seemed to lose all amusement "She's not dead Jes, she's with you," he reassured.

Jesper wiped his eyes "But I don't want to be an ic, I don't care if she's with me. Maui was my familiar, I should have protected her better," he said.

Tipu hugged him. His right hand rubbed up and down Jesper's back. The earth burrowed his face into Tipu's neck. He smelled sweet like honey and warm like the air on a sunny day. It was nice.
