Angles, angles, angles. Callum never liked Angles. Rivers never took angles, they only bend, twist, turn but never took angles. To him, they were confusing. They mess with your mind and thoughts, attempting to ruin your peace. They were the screaming red in a swell of blue.
His master sighed "Callum, we've talked about it," the older man said "You're letting it get you bent out of shape."
Callum snapped his head towards Master Ratix "I am not Bent Out Of Shape! I just- I-" he couldn't former the words for it. He was never good with words when angry or upset. He threw his hands up and let out a short screech.
Callum liked order, he like things when they were calm and in place. He had a place for everything but Master Ratix's room ruined that for him. His brain became frazzled and uncertain. Where do I sit? Should I move this or should I leave it there? Which one is a chair and which was a stuff stacked like a chair?
Water had two ways. Calm and orderly like Callum or a mess and chaos like Ratix. His master didn't really have a choice when picking his student but the water master was perfectly fine with it. Callum liked Ratix too. They got along greatly and more often saw eye to eye on things.
Angles would always be the one thing they disagreed on. Ratix would stack everything in angles or corners to keep it out of the way. Callum hated it. He kept all of his things in neat rows and piles as with angles he'd bump into them and hurt himself.
Ratix smiled "Would you rather go to the tranquility garden?" He asked.
Callum sighed through his nose "I'd like that a lot more," he replied. The two left the room and it's hellish angles. Callum would eventually be rid of them but for now he would begrudgingly accept them and their upcoming sharpness.
-----------
Callum glared at Tipu's fangs. The mind master was laughing as he shook his head at a joke. The water apprentice glared harder. He wanted to be rid of them so badly. They clicked when Tipu's spoke.
"Isn't that just a 'you' thing?" Click. Click. Click. Click. Click. Click.
Callum hated the clicking. Almost as much as angles. Almost. The water apprentice glared harder.
He barely noticed that Rialen and Verona where making a bet about when he was going to go off. Tipu was clicking again.
"Jespy wespy im favorite-"
Callum broke his fork. It cracked loudly that everyone was looking at him. Even Tipu. The mind master flushed dark as he shifted back to his human form. The water apprentice smiled "Thank you!" then placed his broke fork down and ate his noodles with a spoon.
It took a few minutes and some gloating from Verona before the small dinning hall was back to normal.
Even the most peaceful can be bothered by little things.
