Ollie loved his home. It was big and made of stone which felt cool during the hot time. He didn't like the hot time, much too hot for him and always so bright! Ollie preferred the cool time, laying on the crunchy ground and being kept warm by the clothes Mama made for him. He loved anything mama got for him. He was her prefect boy.

He saw the guests coming from his favorite balcony window. It was set up near the big spiraling stairs. They wore thick covering and stood out against the white ground, the only distinctive trait about them was their greencloaks.

One looked up to him and waved. Ollie waved back which seemed to get the group moving faster towards his home. The rebuilt boy hurried down the stairs.

His mama looked over to him "Ollie? What is it sweetie?" She asked.

He didn't normally run down stairs "I saw people coming to the house! They were wearing lots of clothing and all had cloaks made of green," he replied.

She paled at this statement with horror on her face "Ollie go up to your room and do not come out until I come get you," she said. Ollie was confused, what's wrong with the people? He liked them and their green capes, they all seemed to like nice people too.

Ollie nodded "Okay Mama," he replied. He walked to his room, stopping briefly at the balcony.

A rope was attached to railing and a stranger was climbing up. They looked up to see Ollie staring down at them. The stranger pulled his colorful mask.

Ollie was surprised by the face of a tan boy "Hey you! You live here right?" He asked.

Instead the built boy stood there and stared from under his hood "Why are you coming up the balcony? Mama doesn't approve of strangers," he replied.

The boy sighed, a breath of fog from his mouth "My friends thought nobody who lived here, would you help me inside please?" He asked. The more Ollie stared, the more he realized the boy was shivering. Ollie nodded and helped him up.

The stranger took in heaving breaths, Ollie took his hand and lead him to his room in the highest tower. Ollie smiled at him "Mama will be upset if she knew I let you into the house, but I have an idea to keep you from being hurt by her," he said.

The boy was surprised "Alright go on," he said.

Ollie smiled but didn't say anything. He strode over to his dresser. The mixed up boy grabbed a bottle. He took off his cloak, revealing the mixed up parts of his body as he looked at the other boy. The boy looked horrified "What? How is that possible?" He asked.

Ollie held up the bottle and pressed the top down in the boy's face. He began coughing and stumbling than leaned on a post as Ollie stopped "What are... you doing... to... m-" the boy passed out onto the floor.

Ollie lowered himself to his knees and brushed his friend's pale curls of hair "Don't worry friend, Mama will help fix you so you can stay," He whispered.

The boy- Arin -woke up strapped on a table. He could hear talking "I like him Mama! He is my friend!" It was that- that thing! The weird boy with the wrong body.

"Oh sweet pea we can't have strangers roaming the house! They could get out! They could tell the bad greens about you!" A woman was talking to it, that must have been Zelia. They were supposed to be visiting her because the missing group was last scene headed toward her home or so the village people said.

Footsteps approached, they were coming closer to him "Make him special Mama! My friend won't leave if he is special like me too!" The thing begged. Special? What did that mean?

Arin froze as a door opened near him. Zelia and her monster entered. They walked past him towards an odd book.

Zelia looked at her son. She knew what he meant by special, by making that greencloak into something like Ollie. She opened her book of monsters, flipping through the pages.

Centaur, Merman, Werewolf, Chimera, Harpy, Siren, Vampire, Fae, Pixie.... Manticore. Zelia tapped the page "How about this one sweetie? A manticore?" She asked.

Ollie looked over the page. He smiled and nodded "I like it Mama!" He replied. Zelia left the book open and walked to the stairs "I will inform our guests of their mission than," she stopped near the boy her son had captured. He looked frightened "Congrats, you will be my next creation," she taunted. Zelia strode up stairs.

Her golems held the four greencloaks in place. She smiled as they looked to her "Zelia! Let us go and we will not tell anyone of your misendevors!" Their elder greencloak said.

Zelia rolled her eyes "I have a proposal for you," she said.

A young girl with braided niloan hair glared at her "Whatever it is we won't-" the golem silenced her with a flick of Zelia's fingers.

The older woman sighed "You don't have a choice. Get me two things and I won't hurt your little Amayan friend, she said.

The kids' eyes widened as Zelia chuckled at their shock. The elder greencloak, Herald, looked grim "What do you plan to do with Arin if we do not help you?" He asked.

Zelia sighed "Well if you don't accept my proposal, let's just say that Arin will discover what its like to have something he loves ripped from him," she glared at him "And I pretty sure a marked would know what's the worst thing to be taken from them," she stated.

One kid, a euran girl, gasped in shock "But he's just a kid! We're all kids!" She said.

Zelia glared, her blood boiling "And I was a mother! My son was almost twelve when he died!" She snapped.

Herald sighed, dropping his head "Zelia you are better than this, you were a greencloak too. Maybe-"

A sharp smack filled the air. Zelia stared as the man's white skin began to turn red. She sighed "This is not up for negotiation, either you get me what I need or I kill the boy's spirit animal, do you accept?" She asked.

Herald was silent for a moment but he nodded once. Zelia snapped her fingers and the four were released "You have three weeks to get me a lion and a large bile infected scorpion," she said.

A Zhongese boy frowned "Where are we supposed to find a bile infected scorpion? That war ended three years ago!" He complained.

Zelia shrugged as she walked away "Not my problem," she replied snapping her fingers. The golems began herding them out she whistled, the stone creatures stopped "One more thing, if you try to get help from the Green Haven and invade my home. I will kill your friend's spirit and torture him while my golems destroy your forces," she warned.

She snapped and the golems shoved the greencloaks outside into the snow. A soft laugh bubbled up from her lips, they were bringing that poor boy's doom to her.
