PART SIX OF THE PROTECTIVE SERIES

You rest on the bench, putting in your earplugs to block out the sound of the annoying lady on the speaker. Music fills your ears, filling you with much needed energy. You gratefully close your eyes, feeling the events of the day finally catch up on you.

The lingering feeling of someone watching you stays in the back of your mind as Y/F/S (your favourite song) plays, pulling you back into your relaxation zone. Suddenly, you are pulled into someone's arms, their warmth instantly running through you. Your earplugs are ripped out as the male presses his lips close to your ear, making the hair on your neck stand on end

"Those guys behind us have been watching you for an undeniably long time and have slowly been advancing on you. I can see that you are tired and completely out of it and would like your permission to stay with you until they are no longer a threat. I'm Namjoon, by the way."

You smile, nodding kindly at him. He relaxes, leaning back onto the bench, his arm still securely placed around you. The train pulls up and he gets on with you, allowing you to rest on his shoulder as your eyes close.

You wake up half an hour later, one stop before your own to an empty seat behind you. Frowning, you search the train for him, hand landing on a piece of paper next to you.

Hey, my stop was a couple of stops ago. Don't worry, those guys are gone. Here's my number

You smile to yourself, immediately texting him.
