You lean into his embarace, feeling as if you're finally home. He presses his cheek to the top of your head, closing his eyes in exhaustion. You smile at the feel of him running his hands through your hair, drawing mindless patterns on his back. He's never felt more at peace with you.
The two of you push your horrible days out of your minds and melt into each other's arms, knowing that no matter what happens, you'll always have this.
