Ah, karaoke. One of your many reasons for existing. Normally, you'd be screaming out lyrics to shows with a group of your friends but tonight, you go it solo.
Only thing is, you've never done it alone before.
You swallow thickly, your breath being picked up the microphone, echoing through the room. The crowd eyes you with judgement. The music starts playing but your voice doesn't want to cooperate with you.
Luckily, someone's does.
He walks on stage beside you, giving everyone a wave. He starts singing, his voice as deep as the ocean but as gentle as a baby's blanket.
In an instant, you join in, having a blast on stage.
After the performance, he offers you a drink.
"First time or are you just nervous?"
"I usually come with my friends but they didn't want to come. Thank you though."
"It would be an honour for me to come as your partner. I'm Taehyung."
