He smacked me across the face. Mark just kept walking. He slapped me. I kicked him again, this time he fell to the floor. I then wrapped my leg around Marks, tripping him. He let go of me to brace the fall. I fell with him, but I rolled to the side to avoid him grabbing me. I whipped my head up then I noticed the car keys. I stood up and sprinted over to them. I grabbed the keys then went out to the car, unlocking it and getting in. I started the car then started heading down the road. Then suddenly a tire popped. I swerved trying to keep the car in control. I turned the wheel hard to the left, turns out the was just enough to roll the car. I tried to grab onto something because I forgot to put on my seat belt. My body flew around the car, hitting everything. When the car stopped I was so relieved. I looked around, then I noticed Mark's phone. I grabbed it, my arms aching. I pulled up emergency contacts. Ethan, a friend of mine, was the first contact. I hit call. I heard the ringing and I waited.

"Please pick up," I said

"Hello?" a voice from the other end on the line said groggily.

"Ethan! Oh my gosh, thank you, I need help," I said in a panicked voice

"Evelina? Why do you have Mark's phone?" Ethan asked

"No time to explain, can you come out here?" I asked hurriedly

"Uh.. when?" He asked

"Tomorrow, I need your help!" I said quickly

"Ya, sure," He said

"Thank you," I said so gratefully

"Ya no problem, see ya tomorrow" He replied hanging up. I put Mark's phone down. I was still in the car, I checked myself, a few cuts and a gash on my forehead. Not bad. I crawled half way out of the car before completely giving up. I turned my face to the sunlight and fell asleep.
