Why?..." I said distracted. Jack opened his mouth like he was going to say something, but then closed it. I put my hand up by Mark's face touching his cheek lightly. I saw Mark's eyes tearing up as he gently grabbed my hand and held it.
"Because these people are crazy, they are basically holding us hostage here," Jack replied
"Go talk to Bridgit then, Jack. Figure something out, because staying here is the only option we have right now," Mark said. Jack ran his hands through his hair and then stormed out of the tent. Mark then turned his attention back to me, his hand still tightly holding mine.
"Mark, I swear I'm okay, I'm just a little dazed," I said, quietly.
"It's not that," Mark said, looking down at me.
"Then what is it?" I asked, looking up at him, in curiosity.
"It's how Jake is here, and how Bridgit just let him treat you like this," Mark said, annoyed.
"Mark, listen," I said holding my finger up to his lips. He stopped. I heard a trickle of water near the tent.
"Ev..." He said. I shushed him.
"Just...Listen," I said.
"I hear it," He said quietly
"You hear it?" I said smiling. He looked down at me and nodded, touching his nose with mine.
"I hear it," He said, chuckling.
"You just need to listen," I said, touching my lips off his, "You just need to hear me,"
"I hear you," Mark said closing his eyes, "I hear everything,"
Suddenly, gunfire broke into the air. The dark came up into my brain and I suddenly locked lips with Mark..
"Rise and shine handsome," I said pulling away and standing up in the tent. I grabbed the knife from his belt and cut the tent down the center. Mark was on the ground his black eyes smiling up at me. He stood up and kissed my neck.
"Let's go have some fun," He said. I smiled and started to walk towards to the gun fire. Tents were up in flames. I saw Jack in the distance, blood stained his hands. He smiled.
"Welcome to the chaos," He said through a smirk. I flipped the knife up catching the handle. Gunshots echoed behind me. A man in black came around the corner. I whipped around, throwing the knife. It found its place in his stomach. He stayed standing, so I ran over grabbing his neck, then flipping him to the ground. Pain filled his eyes.
"You want a present, soldier?" I asked. I pulled the knife out, and kicked him to the ground.
"P-please, have mercy," The soldier stuttered out. I then dropped the knife into his chest.
"Mercy isn't my thing," I said, twisting then pulling the knife out of the dead soldier's body. I had blood on my hands. Mark came over to me.
"Look at you go, pretty," He said leaning down and kissing me.
"Your turn handsome," I said smiling on his lips. More soldiers came through. I walked over to Jack, who had just finished killing a soldier. Mark grabbed the gun off of the one I had just killed. He shot a few rounds, knocking out a large portion of them. Once he was out of rounds, he slammed the back of the gun into the last soldiers forehead, leaving a hole in his skull. The man then fell on the ground with a loud thud. Jack and I just stood there smiling in pride.
"Hey!" A voice called from behind me. I turned around. Bridgit stood there with a fairly large gun.
"Oh, looky here, Handsome. The boss is here," I said through a terrifying grin.
"Would you stop killing my men?" She said. Jack and Mark laughed behind me.
"Your men?" I asked, "They were trying to kill me, sweetheart,"
"They were trying to capture you," It was Aaron's voice. I turned around slowly and his glare met mine.
"Pretty, why don't we have a little fun," Mark whispered into my ear. I smiled turning to him.
"Yes, please," I replied.
