I woke up, next to Mark. White sheets covered us. I felt bad that they were white, I didn't want to get blood on them. I tried to sit up, but a burst of pain went through my shoulder and side. I was forced to lay back down. I groaned a small bit.

"You okay?" I heard in a gravelly voice.

"I'm fine," I squeaked. He went off the bed and came over to my side. I was so uncomfortable laying on my back.

"What do you need?" He said

"What?" I asked him turning my head to look at him.

"What can I get you?" He asked again.

"Water," I said quietly trying to get comfortable. He left the room and went somewhere to get water. I heard something enter the room. My head whipped to face the doorway. My hands shifted so I could get up faster. Turns out, It was only Jack. I breathed out.

"Hey," He said, leaning onto the door frame.

"Hey," I replied

"I'm sorry for yesterday," He said

"It wasn't your fault," I said

"Yes, it was," He said walking over to the bed. He sat down on the edge of bed. The move only made my injuries hurt worse. I closed my eyes and breathed in.

"Oh, I'm sorry," He said

"It's okay," I said, "Who was that girl you were with?"

"Her name was Sofia," He said, " She grabbed me and dragged me to her room. She put me in some sort of a trance,"
"Oh," I said

"I couldn't control myself," He said, " Next thing I know, you are against the wall bleeding all over the place,"

"I'm sorry," I said. Mark came into the room carrying a small plastic cup full of water. I tried to sit up again, but failed.

"Let me help you," Mark said he supported my back and after awhile I was finally propped up against the cheap metal bed frame. He handed me the glass on water and gulped it down. I could feel the cold water go down my throat.

"Mark where are we?" I asked

"A cabin somewhere in the middle of the woods," He replied to me. I leaned my head back and closed my eyes.

"Hey, Jack?" Mark asked, " Would you look for some guns or something, I have a feeling we'll need them,"

"Ya, sure," Jack said, leaving the room. Mark sat on the bed next to me.

"Could you help me lay down," I asked Mark weakly.

"Oh, course," He said. Helping me back down. He laid next to me. I put my head on his chest.

"I love you, Mark," I said

"I love you more," He said. I could feel his grin. I closed my eyes and felt the rise and fall of his chest. I wanted to stay there, next to Mark. In his warmth. I fell asleep again to the sound of his breath.
