"Unlock it," Jack commanded. The man did in a shaky manor. Adam opened it up and stared down at him.
"See, I told you they weren't here, Charlie," Adam said.
"Sorry, I just thought since the FR and the Reunion are joining that we should be thorough," Charlie said.
"Sorry, sir," Adam said.
"I-it's okay," The man choked out.
"What's the problem?" Adam asked. Jack cocked the gun. Mark turned dark, pulling me behind his back.
"N-nothing," He said.
"Uh, you're hurt," Adam said looking at the wound in his shoulder.
"I swear," Jack whispered under his breath, his voice heavy.
"I-it's fine," He stuttered,
"Here let us help you," Adam said started to crawl in. He tried to shove them out, but Adam was much stronger. The darker version of Mark pulled me into the storage room, Jack followed with the gun. I cracked the door open just enough so I could see. Mark held my arm back with his strong grip making sure I didn't go out any farther than I already did. My hand went up to play with Mark's locket, but it was gone. I scanned the floor. It was in front of the door, just at arms reach. I knelt down quietly as I could, Mark's grip still tight around my arm. I reached out to grab it, but pulled my arm back in, just as Adam turned his head towards the door. I held my breath. Adam slowly walked over. He must have noticed the locket on the floor. He picked it up and opened it.
"They're here," Adam said pulling his gun, "Charlie leave him and help me look," He walked past the storage unit door and into the kitchen. I went dark.
"Mark, I need a knife," I said. He smiled and pulled out a dagger. I smiled.
"There you go, pretty," Mark said.
"Jack shoot the other one, he's useless to us," I said. Jack walked out of the storage unit and shot Charlie, his body falling limp against the ground. I followed and Mark followed. Adam had a gun trained on Jack and Jack had his gun trained on Adam.
"Found you," Adam said. I held my dagger so the blade was touching the skin of my forearm.
"Hello, Adam," I said through anger.
"I want to be the one who kills you," He said.
"And if I die, you die, now that's not very useful in building a name, is it?" I said. He thought about his answer. Yet, he kept his gun trained on Jack. He looked away for a brief moment and I threw the knife hitting him in the chest. He fell to the ground.
"You are... now...a weapon," Adam choked out. I walked over to him, pulling the knife out of his chest, and my locket out of his hand.
"No, I am an excuse for a cure," I said, my voice weighing down my words, "I am a wicked persons way to fame," Adam went limp and we all went normal. The man was sitting in the corner in shock. Mark looked at me.
"I'm keeping the knife," I said. Twirling it so skillfully.
"I never said you couldn't keep it," he said laughing.
"If she keeps the knife then I keep the gun," Jack said laughing.
"Cool with me," I said, wrapping my arms around Mark.
"We need to get out of here," Jack said in a serious tone
"You think Adam's car is still out there?" I asked
"Bet you it is," Mark said, kissing my forehead.
"Then let's go," I said. I let go of Mark, and ran into our room, grabbing my clothes and shoving them into Mark's bag. I turned around to meet Mark's black and unforgiving eyes.
"What are you doing?" He said his voice heavy. I looked at him with a serious tone. His hand went down to my waist.
"We are leaving," I said, grabbing his hand and pushing it away.
"No, we aren't," He said grabbing my waist again.
"I said we are, so we are," I said trying to shove his hand away. His grip tightened.
"Jack!" He called, "We aren't leaving!"
"I'm down," Jack replied, "We still have food so, good plan," Mark smiled. Jack didn't know that Mark was gone.
"You're sick," I said.
"Go put on that black dress," He said.
"No," I said, twisting out of his grip, but he catches my wrist.
"We are not leaving," He said in his dark voice.
"Let go," I snapped. He pulled me in.
"No," he said
"Mark, I said let go!" I said in a louder voice, shoving his chest away from me.
"I'm not Mark," He said, tightening his grip. I suddenly felt weak.
"What did you do?" I asked.
"I took the extra anesthesia from the med kit, You weren't going to use it, right?" He said grinning his devilish grin.
"Maybe...I was...," I said breathily.
"No you weren't," Mark said grinning. He started to kiss my neck. My body went limp against his and I lost consciousness.
