"You ruin everything," He said to me through his teeth. Mark yanked him off me and smacked him across the head with what looked like a crowbar. Mark's dark eyes met mine. He picked me up off the floor and took me to our room. He went normal on the way there. He set me down on the bed and started to wrap the large holes in my body with some gauze he grabbed from the other side of the room. I flinched with every move.
"Stop," I whimpered. He pulled the bandages tight. I squirmed trying to get away from the pain.
"Sorry," he said.
"No... You're just trying to....Help," I said through pain. I could tell he was fighting tears. I grabbed his hand from the bandage on my side. He had already wrapped my shoulder. I grabbed the bandages from his hand.
"I'm sorry, Ems," He said choking on tears. I slowly sat up and hugged his chest. I just sat there for a good three minutes. He was shaking with tears. I felt a hand run up my back, but it wasn't Mark's. It wrapped around the collar of my black shirt. I yanked back, making me let go of Mark. I looked back in fear. It was Tom.
"You ready to kill the Reunion Leader?" He said with a crooked grin on his face. He dragged me away. My stab wound scraping against the rough floor. I groaned in pain. I called for Mark, but two large men were holding him back. Tom threw me against the wall. I went dark and tried to attack him. Two guards came and held my arms back.
"That's who I need," he said.
"Hello... Tom," I said
"We need a favor from you," he said
"And what would that be? I'm good at... favors," I said the darkness twisted my voice.
"No, I need you to kill someone for me," Tom said. I grinned
"Who?" I asked
"A man who will be in that building over there in about ten minutes," Tom said pointing to an old office building across from us.
"And how am I going to do that with no gun, soldier," I said. I tried to shake myself free, but the men were to strong.
"I've got a gun for you," He said. He held up a shotgun. I looked at it and smiled. A boy came running up to Tom.
"Sir, he's here early," The boy said out of breath. Tom pointed at the men and they let me go. Tom handed me the gun.
"You have one job," He said, "Don't mess it up,"
I aimed the gun at the man's neck. He was the one holding me in the cell. I shot hitting him in the neck. He fell to the ground lifeless. The men scattered and started to search the building.
"Happy now, Tom?" I said shoving the gun in his hands. I walked back to the room that Mark was in. I walked in and he pinned me against the wall kissing me.
"Mark," I said in between kisses, "What are you doing,"
His hands started to lift up my shirt. I grabbed them and shoved them back down. He kept on trying.
"Stop," I barked at him.
"Why," His lips went to my neck. Tom walked into the room and smiled. I shoved Mark off and grabbed Tom by the neck.
"I did what you asked, now leave me alone," I yelled anger rising in my dark voice.
"I'm not done with you yet," I grabbed a knife of one of the large men standing near us. I held it in my other hand. The men held their guns up. Tom motioned for them to put them down.
"Do it," he said, "once you kill me, you die,"
"Better than living in a world with you," I said shoving the knife into his side. The men just stood there, looking at me.
