After all of their scheduled meeting, Edward and Maymay decided to visit her family once again like what she and her Mom agreed to do.
She called Tanner a few times but he was not answering.
'Asan kaya yun?' Maymay asked herself aloud.
'Sino?' Tanong naman ni Edward.
'Si Tanner. Kahapon pa yun hindi nagpaparamdam eh. Tapos hindi din sinasagot yung tawag ko.' Nag-aalalang tugon ni Maymay.
'Why are you looking for him?' Bigla namang nainis si Edward.
'Syempre kasama ko siyang nagpunta dito diba? Cargo ko kung may nangyaring masama dun sa tao.' She answered.
'Sus! Mabuti nga yung wala siya para walang asungot. Oh baka naman miss mo?!'
'Hay naku Mr. Barber! Baka pag sinagot kita ng oo, miss ko maglupasay ka dyan!' Pang-aasar ni Maymay.
'Really? You miss him?' Na-trigger naman agad agad si Edward.
'Magtigil ka nga. Of course not! I'm just worried, that's all.' Then she tried calling his number again, but there's still no response.
Short after, she got a text message from him.
Oops! Ang larawang ito ay hindi sumusunod sa aming mga alituntunin sa nilalaman. Upang magpatuloy sa pag-publish, subukan itong alisin o mag-upload ng bago.
'Hala! Wala na pala si Tanner. Umuwi na daw sa Manila.'
'Finally! Thank God nakaramdam din!' Edward was able to sigh in relief that he doesn't have to deal with Tanner and his righteous ways.
'He can't know about this Edward. He will tell your Mom! I can't deal with that just yet!' Bigla namang kinabahan si Maymay. Nakaramdam nga ba si Tanner?
Does he have an idea with what's going on between her and Edward? She suddenly tried to remember every instance that both of them is around Tanner and she can't think of anything that would give him a hint that there's something going on.
Probably, he just really needed to go back.
'What is it? You're so deep in your thoughts.' Bigla naman siyang niyakap ni Edward from tha back while she's prepping her things for a weekend in their house.
'Nothing. I was just thinking why he left sooner than he's supposed to.' Maymay answered honestly.
'Don't worry to much Miss Entrata. I'm pretty sure it's just nothing and can you please stop thinking about him?' Halata sa boses ni Edward ang pagkairita sa patuloy na pagbanggit ni Maymay sa pangalan ni Tanner.
Maymay sensed Edward's irritation so she turned around without breaking Esward's hold on her.
'Sorry!' Ika ni Maymay and she held his face.
'I'm just worried that he noticed something.' Saad nito.
'You know what? I don't care whether he did or not. If he'll tell my Mom then it's alright. Then we don't have to hide. I can hug and kiss you when and where I want.' He said while looking in to her eyes.
