romaine severine beauregard.

August 23, at umaga. Tsk.

Siguro five palang kami sa room dito. Ang tahimik, eh. Tulog 'yung iba, yet I am here listening to music and staring at nowhere.

"Sev," seryosong tawag niya, and he was staring straight into my eyes.

Iniiwasan ko siya. Hindi ako sure sa dahilan kung bakit. Maaaring dahil nagpakilala siya kay Birmingham when I made it my point na ayaw kong malaman nung babae na 'yun ang name niya, or I don't know. Kahit si Harrison, yung kuya niya, kinausap pa ako.

He seems to not know about it. Tsk.

"What?" I asked, in a serious way.

"You... you're avoiding me, aren't you? We haven't talked since Monday. You never go to my trainings anymore," he said, looking down.

"H-Huh? Galit ka?" Tanong niya, and I looked at him as if he was being dumb.

"Sa labas tayo mag-usap," sabi ko, and then he nodded at lumabas.

Besides, it's Thursday. These sports kids need a little break. Little.

I still do my 75 lap runs pero sa field nalang sa bahay. Sa bahay nalang din ako nagfofootball, at ang pinapasipa ko ay either the butlers or the guards or what.

I miss football. So much. Pero hindi ang former team ko.

Binuksan na ni Harvee ang door sa café and the chimes sounded. It seems oh so familiar. Last year na pala namin 'to sa high school ng Delcroix.

I remember when it was our first year here. Parang ang nostalgic. I want to go back to those moments, pero hindi rin at the same time.

"I'll order," sabi ni Harvee, and I nodded, finding a table.

Syempre, table for two. Mukha ba kaming madami? Hindi naman, 'di ba?

I looked around the café, and saw the numerous students laughing and chattering. Ang saya nila. I sighed.

"Huy, Sev, cheer up," sabi ni Harvee, na umupo na sa harapan ko with cakes and cups of coffee.

"I just can't. Bri left. I feel uneasy. She's always been around me, mag-usap man kami or hindi. Her presence calms me down. And with that Birmingham and the hamsters coming along, naguguluhan na ako," sabi ko, and I looked down. Harvee has this something with him na makes it easier for me to open up.
