Hapon na ng thursday and I'm alone in the ballet club room. Walang pupunta ngayon, because Thursdays and Fridays are the days kung kailan karamihan ng members ay nagrerest.

I played the piano music on my phone, and danced, letting my eyes close and my body move on the soft music.

As far as I can remember, Krill and Ymir were my knights when we were younger. What happened?

Alam kong ang babaw lang, pero for someone who hasn't done that to me since the day we met and for someone who protected me so I won't get hurt, it really hurt me na siya ngayon ang nanakit sa akin.

I tried to erase the thoughts kasi lumipas na 'yun, pero wala. I just decided to focus on the music, so I did.

I did a pirouette, and then was surprised when I fell to the floor. This is the first time I fell from a pirouette. Paano?

I pulled my hair in defeat. How can such a simple thing put me into such a complicated state as this? Bakit ang sensitive ko sa subject na 'yun? Ang how on earth was I supposed to improve kung lagi nalang akong nagkakamali?

Should I place my pointe shoes into the shelf?

Bumukas ang pinto, at hindi ko tinignan kung sino 'yun because I was sat on the floor with my right foot hurting.

Hindi ko pinahalata na may masakit, because I didn't want to be a burden to whoever it is that entered.

"Theia," sabi niya, and I looked up with teary eyes.

"Axelle," I called, and then she smiled at me before rushing to me and hugging me.

"Why are you training alone? Isn't it your rest day? Theia, magpahinga ka," sabi niya, and I looked down while fighting back my tears.

"Why am I such a burden, Axelle? Hindi ko kailangan ng pahinga. Kailangan kong maging worth people's time kasi 'yun ang gusto ng parents ko. What if I quit ballet?" I said, now looking into her eyes with mine pouring.

She wiped my tears, and then hugged me tight. She helped me stand up and then led me into the piano bench where Vance and I sat the last time.

"You're not a burden, Thei. If anything, you're your parents' precious gem. Don't you ever quit ballet because ever since we met you, you've been dancing ballet. Don't doubt yourself, it's life. There are good things and bad things, but in the end, we learn," sabi niya, and then I hugged her.

She was right. I don't need to surrender because my pile of problems are weighing me down.

I need to lift them all up, so I could rule my life and not life to rule me.
