I race home. I would normally walk but today I am running. What if I get declined what if I do make it! Worry goes through my mind as I sprint to my house only half a mile from my school. Today was the last day of the school year and also the day my letter comes in.
A letter for what you might ask. A letter to tell me if I got accepted to go on the sunsation tour this summer. The sunsation your is a tour with all kinds of viners and famous people.
They held auditions during the year. they want a untouched talent to sing in the shows. A sponsored thing a guess or a way to make a nobody a somebody. I don't know but i sent in my video and today was the day I was getting my letter.
Part of me knows the chances of me getting in are slim but I still have all this hope swirling inside of me.
As I walk up to my mail box I am hesitant to open but when I do I find a letter from the board of the sunsation tour. Will I get in. I don't want to open it now. But I have to. I need to. I grab the letter and run for my front door.
