The nurse called for the doctor almost immediately after Stevie started screaming. At first she was in shock, by a regular person screaming as if she was hearing voices, but little did she know of Stevie's actual ability. Lindsey had said there was nothing wrong, but this was making him seem like he lied about her having any issues.

"Stevie," the nurse said as she awaited the doctor.

"I'm sorry, um... it was a headache and it felt like a gun shot me in the head," Stevie assured, placing a hand to her temple. She knew that was a really bad excuse, but she couldn't tell them what she really did.

"Are you sure? that seemed like really violent pain..." the nurse lingered on.

"Yes, I'm sure--"

"What's going on?" asked the doctor abruptly from his nurse's calling. It sounded urgent and he needed to be sure, everything was okay.

"I had a headache and it shot through really bad," Stevie once again said, as she sat down on the edge of the bed.

Leonard creased his brows, not really believing her. He didn't get there on time to see what happened but he couldn't exactly question since his colleague brought her there.

"I swear, I'm fine," she said. "I just need a second," she almost stuttered because, now she was nervous.

"I'll get you that tea," the nurse responded to the quietness.

"Thank you," Stevie said.

The nurse walked out leaving Stevie and doctor Leonard alone.

"Stevie, are sure, you are okay?" he asked as she was laying down.

"Mhmm," she nodded.

"Does doctor Buckingham know of these headaches?" he asked.

Stevie nodded, eyes a little wide as she answered. She was only hoping that if the doctor decided to call Lindsey, Lindsey would know what was going on right off the bat.

"Are you sure?" he asked again.

"Yes," she kind of laughed. "Of course, he does," her expression started to neutralize as she took in how serious the doctor was. "He knows everything about me, believe or or not."

"Okay..." he paused. "I just wanted to make sure we were on the same page."

"Why wouldn't we be?" she asked, now out of curiosity.

"Stevie, relax---I am a doctor and I am forced to question sometimes."

"Alright," she kind of nodded. "I don't care if you do, but I don't like to be cornered and interrogated."

"Understandable," he assured as he began walking.

She stared at him as he made his way. She rolled her eyes only moments later---he wasn't as nice as Lindsey. She was quite thankful to him for helping her out, but they all knew it wasn't necessary to question. She wasn't crazy and both she and Lindsey could attest easily.

Minutes later, the nurse knocked and reentered with Stevie's cup of tea.

"Thank you," Stevie smiled.

"No problem, I also brought you some Advil for your headache," she mentioned.

"Okay, I appreciate it," Stevie put the pills down on the table. She wasn't going to take them because, she didn't like putting chemicals in her body. She had been doing that unwillingly a lot lately. She had gotten tranquilizer shots a couple of times and that was too much.

"Are you going to take them?" the woman asked---creasing her brow.

"I don't like to take medication, even over the counter. It's not me---I rely on herbs and spiritual healing. If a headache got bad enough, possibly, but that pain was minor," she assured.
