When Talia came home, she had the girls by her side. The girls were all about in their mid and late twenties and the ones who went to the party were nineteen to about mid twenties. Stevie had been there when she was about twenty-three herself so she knew this must have been the age of recollection. Wanting to understand what your worth was and what you were to do and, or be.
Stevie greeted each young lady with a smile and kind of went her own way with Talia. In the days they were together, they were catching up but they were also planning the girls' teaching. How they were going to go about it.
"Did you manage to get anything out of Pandora?" Talia asked. The ladies had gone out to the greenhouse once again. That seemed to be the most private space to talk, mostly because the other girls were not allowed to go there. There were too many things that could harm them if they weren't careful. Talia was a little overprotective about it, but she knew it would soon be in their futures.
"Yes, actually," she nodded. "I did and it was more than I thought I would get. I told her some things and she didn't really tell me what specifically was bothering her, but more or less that she is coping. Or at least is trying to cope."
"I think you being here, will do her well. She hardly connects with me," Talia mentioned.
Stevie kind of shrugged.
"You have a way with people, Stevie---" she added.
"I don't really, I don't think. I just say what I feel. Good or bad."
"And that's good to not have the filter. You say what you need to."
"Lately, I am a little more harsh because I am not sleeping great but y'know..." She started rubbing her tummy because she felt bad. It wasn't the baby's fault---they were just telling her they were healthy. Even in the earlier months she had horrible morning sickness and she was in bed all day. Lindsey stayed home often and took care of her because it was terrible and she was almost immobile.
Talia smiled at her friend. "This is for you," she handed her a few sacks of herbs. They were small but she was going to put them in a bag.
"Thanks," Stevie took it and looked at each one.
"All of these are good for you two," she gestured her head to Stevie's stomach. "When my cousin was pregnant, she let me try out a bunch of herbs to see what would be the best. For this stage, this is the best combination."
"Sounds great---I need a stress reliever and nerve calmer. I am so tired," she almost rolled her eyes because she thought it was ridiculous to be that tired.
"Enjoy it," Talia stated. "You as the mother, that is going to be one rambunctious child," she joked.
"Oh, you should meet Lindsey. He doesn't rest either---everything this baby does is going to epic," she laughed. "Good and bad."
"Always, the best though. Very strong. I sense you are going to let them ride freely without surpressing the powers."
"Yeah... I want them to know everything, I know. I want them aware of their surroundings; different realms and just the public. I was in pain for so many years---they have to know how to block the emotion."
"I think that is what every mother should do. And, or father."
"Especially if there is a chance a child could hold an ability. They shouldn't wait for their kid to be on the brink of suicide because of the depression. You have to walk them through it. That is one thing that Pandora needs. She is unaware, so she thinks she is evil and that is not fair."
"I understand," Talia responded. "I fortunately didn't have to go through that. My mother was there and she was there for you when you joined. You had your mother, but she didn't tell you what you needed to know because, she didn't understand."
