Today is my eighteenth birthday which means I can get married legally or can go to jail if I commit a crime. I really don't have any plans for today and all I want is to spend this day with my family.
Maaga akong nagising ngayong araw dahil pumunta ako ng simbahan para magpasalamat sa Diyos. I thanked him for giving me another year to enjoy, to experience more about life has to offer and to be with my loved ones. Sobrang nagpapasalamat din ako dahil maganda ang recovery ni Papa at may kaonting laboratory at diagnostic procedures na lang na kailangang gawin.
After the mass, I went to Blackstar Pastry to enjoy a bite of cake and a cup of coffee. Konti pa lang ang customer nila since alas nuwebe pa lang ng umaga. I decided not to attend on my classes today to fully enjoy my birthday.
"Oh! Thank you so much!" hindi makapaniwalang bulalas ko nang lumapit sa akin ang manager ng cafe at binigyan ako ng cake.
"You're welcome, Miss Adi. Happy birthday!" masayang bati sa akin ng mga staff na kilala na ako sa dalas ko ba namang pagtambay dito simula junior highschool.
I posted the cake on my IG account for remembrance. Sobrang ganda ng cake na hugis number 1 at 8 na puno ng fruits at edible flowers.
