Taehyung just really wants to attend Jungkook's dance practice.
~
"Please, Kookie," Taehyung pleads while looking up at his boyfriend. His head is currently resting on the other's lap as Jungkook tenderly runs his hand through his hair, playing with the strands and threading them lightly between his fingers. He stops momentarily to free his hand before resting his fingertips near the roots of the other's hair and caressing softly, watching as a content smile appears on Taehyung's face.
"Are you really that adamant to go to a dance practice of mine?" Jungkook asks with a smile on his face, finding it endearing that the other has such an interest in what he does.
Taehyung nods eagerly in response before pausing briefly to look off into the distance. He pretends to think for a few seconds before looking back at the other. "You know, I know why you're not taking me."
A chuckle escapes Jungkook's lips upon hearing that. There actually wasn't really a specific reason he hadn't taken Taehyung to practice yet, just that their schedules never worked out or one of them would be too tired, so he's interested to see what the other has to say. "Really? And why is that?"
"Because you're scared I'll outshine everyone there," Taehyung says without missing a beat, evidently teasing but attempting to sound serious. "I mean, I can get why it'd be embarrassing. Imagine being a dance major and then an art student comes along and out-dances you? Seriously, I'd retire," he continues, and watches happily as his boyfriend breaks out into laughter — eyes crinkling, teeth on display. Taehyung thinks he'd do anything to make sure Jungkook is always this happy.
The younger fake gasps, "how did you find out? I thought I was being subtle!"
"I have my ways, Jeon," Taehyung replies before lifting a finger to boop the other's nose. "But really, this week? Please?"
Jungkook smiles as he moves the hand stroking the other's hair and places it on his face, lightly running his thumb across his cheek. "Whatever you want, angel," he replies before promptly leaning down to place a kiss upon the other's forehead.
Jungkook is currently leaning against a wall with his phone in hand, patiently waiting for Taehyung to choose a song.
As soon as they had walked in, the older immediately whispered a, "wow," as he looked around the large space. He greeted everyone before turning to face the mirror attached to the wall and extended his indexes to shoot finger guns while winking at himself, to which he earned a chuckle in response from the other.
That, Jungkook thinks, is one of the things he loves the most about Taehyung. He isn't ashamed to express himself fully. He doesn't care about the weird stares or snarky comments he gets when he wears something a little too baggy or a little too colourful. He doesn't care because he likes it and he's comfortable, and that's what matters. Jungkook loves him for that. Rest assured, he makes sure to compliment Taehyung as much as possible. He tells him how much he loves the long ends of his hair as well as his soft stomach, just to name a few.
Taehyung makes him feel loved too, so that's why he's currently waiting with extreme patience for his boyfriend to pick a song. He's talking it out with Jimin, who is just as cheerful as Taehyung. Both of them stand impatiently picking songs and then suddenly changing them to another when they see a better option. Jungkook smirks at their indecisiveness before looking down at his phone to see a text from Hoseok.
