Jungkook and Taehyung have always had a special bond between them but the alpha and omega never got together. But when Taehyung goes unexpectedly into a bad heat, there is only one person that he knows can make it better – Jungkook. Because Jungkook has always made him feel safe and comfortable. The other members are trying to keep them separated because this isn't an ideal situation how to get together. Seokjin is taking care of Taehyung but there is only so much he can do and when things get serious, the young alpha is the only one who can help the suffering omega.

Taehyung was exhausted and sore. It felt like every muscle in his body was aching and he thought he might have a fever, his head has been killing him since he woke up that morning. They were preparing for new comeback and they were rehearsing songs and choreography since dawn till dusk for the past weeks.
"Are you okay, Tae?" Jimin looked at his best friend with worry. They were all currently sitting in the van while Sejin-hyung drove them to the dance studio. Taehyung was sitting in the back next to his best friend and rested his head against the cool window.
"Yeah, I am just exhausted, I'd need more rest," the younger mumbled with closed eyes. He could already feel that this day will be a bitch. Jimin eyed him for few more seconds but then shrugged it off.
The day was long, they were rehearsing different kind of choreo, first with their teacher but then he left because they already knew the choreography so Hoseok took the teaching on himself.
Taehyung was sweating more than usual and he felt so damn hot. He was surprised that he could still dance. He made his steps and Jungkook danced past him to his spot in the front. The maknae turned his head into Taehyung's direction for a second but then looked in front of him. Taehyung caught the younger's gaze in the mirror. He gulped.
He had no idea why he reacted like this. Well that wasn't exactly true, he had some idea. He and Jungkook were complicated. They had really strong bond since the beginning but it seemed to get even stronger when Taehyung presented as an omega around a year ago and Jungkook presented as an alpha only few weeks after him. Jungkook became awfully possessive of Taehyung and the older became more submissive around the other and his presence always calmed him down. Everyone was expecting them to get together because it just felt natural but they never did. In their world, with their job, it'd be too complicated. BigHit wouldn't be fond of that idea. It was enough that Namjoon and Seokjin were together but that was because the alpha bonded with the omega so it was too late for their boss or managers to say something. One couple in the group was enough.
There were three alphas in the group – Namjoon, Yoongi and Jungkook, two omegas – Seokjin and Taehyung and two betas – Hoseok and Jimin. Seokjin and Jimin came as a bit of surprise, everyone was expecting Seokjin to be a beta, he had characteristics for that and Jimin seemed like typical omega but nature apparently did what it wanted.
"Okay, let's take a break for a while," Hoseok clapped his hands after one song finished and everyone gratefully plopped down on the floor and grabbed bottle of water.
Taehyung sat down and rested his back against the wall. He felt really shitty, he just wanted to go home and crawl in the bed. He noticed Jungkook sitting just few feet from him and he immediately felt his body shift closer to the younger. It was like an instinct, whenever he felt shitty, he would find comfort by Jungkook's side. As soon as he was next to the maknae, he rested his head on his shoulder and sighed contently.
"Hey, are you okay?" Jungkook asked softly. He noticed that Taehyung was not himself today.
"I'm so tired, Kookie," Taehyung whined and Jungkook's nostrils fluttered at the scent coming from the other. He could smell the tension and discomfort from the older. His scent was stronger than usually today and Jungkook had to hold himself not to groan in his throat. Taehyung's always smelled nice to him.
