After his bride left him standing alone at the altar in humiliation, Jeon Jungkook pretended to be married to a cheater so he could get future dates with no strings attached. That changed when he met Park Jimin but the guy resisted getting on with married men. Instead of coming clean, Jungkook asked his boss, Kim Taehyung to pose as his soon-to-be-ex-husband and later realized where his heart really belongs to.

With the evening coming down, Jungkook was back in the bar to occupy his boring weekend, like an escape from his workloads. He moved his arm to his drink and took a big gulp in one go. Waving his empty glass, he motioned the bartender for another one. He had fended off several advances since none of them struck him being the right ones. Rich men with lust. He sighed heavily, playing with his wedding ring like it weighed too heavily on his finger and it reminded him of the humiliation that he faced on his wedding day. The way she had left him all alone at the altar as people in the hall began to whisper, shooting him the looks of shocked disbelief. Jungkook pulled himself out of his thoughts, took the ring off and shoved it down his jeans pocket.
Then he was approached. A guy with beautiful black hair wearing a dark blue casual blazer on top of a plain white t-shirt. He had the most angelic smile Jungkook had ever seen on a human being, probably a few years older than him. The guy sat next to him and went into the routine; asked Jungkook if the seat was taken and Jungkook responded the same way he did with his other past dates. The guy ordered his drink and they began talking. After over an hour of getting to know each other, Jungkook later found out that Park Jimin was a fine man with a great ambition and a dance teacher at one of the prestigious dance academies in the country. A trailer of attractions began to roll and off they went, to a place where no one's around, quiet and private.
They went back to Jimin's place where, after only briefest of flirting and seducing each other, they got into a series of heated kisses and fell on the bed, clothes flying everywhere. Despite the booze they had at the bar, everything worked just fine and the sex was amazing! The next thing Jungkook knew was that he woke up around seven in the morning with a pounding headache, a naked Jimin wrapped around him and a burning desire to leave quickly. Here he thought this was just another one-night thing until Jimin pulled him back to bed, calling him sweetly and saying sweet romantic stuff about taking Jungkook out to this nice coffee shop he found a few days ago and Jungkook knew; he's screwed because Jimin was just perfect and he's falling... in love.

"My name card is in my wallet. You can call me or text me... Anytime," Jungkook said, his voice muffled against the pillow. Jimin just laughed in return as he scooped for Jungkook's wallet from his jeans pocket and that was when something came out and dropped onto the carpeted floor.
"Gguk, what's this?" Jimin frowned as he held a shiny gold ring between his index fingers and his thumb.
"Um... A- A circle?" Jungkook stuttered out nervously.
"A wedding ring?! Are you fucking kidding me?! Didn't I tell you that my parents divorced because my father cheated on my mother?!" Jimin said, his voice turning coaxing instead of angry.
"I- I didn't cheat! I- I swear! Jimin, look... I can explain!" Jungkook said, almost pleading as he tried to reassure the other guy.
"Please explain yourself! I'd love to hear the lies and excuses you're going to come up with!" Jimin rolled his eyes.
"My- My husband, he's going to divorce my ass! We've been separated for months now, okay? And no, we didn't cheat or anything! We- We just... We just lost the deep connection we had and we separated on good terms... I swear," Jungkook explained as he put a serious face on to make sure not to expose his lies.
