"You don't even know shit about me anymore because you won't talk to me. You're always gone. When I need someone to talk to, you're always miles away with some actor friend. You don't even answer my calls because you're too busy hanging out with them. You're being too distant. I don't even feel like I'm your friend, how can I be your damn boyfriend?"
"Fine. Then maybe you shouldn't be anymore."

Jeongguk would like to believe that he's not an idiot. He's been told by a lot of people about how smart he is and how amazing he views the world. Namjoon even once told him he's a genius after Jeongguk showed him the melody he's been working on and the younger's pride soar to the sky hearing that from him. Yes, he did fail one English exam back in high school and he's not fast in solving mathematical problems but not everything is about being book smart – he knows he's fucking smart even without numbers to prove it.
Yet as Seokjin stands with his arms crossed on his chest with his eyes boring holes on Jeongguk's head, he realizes that maybe he is indeed an idiot.
"We talked about this the other day Jeongguk. I told you that whatever happened between you and Taehyung should be fixed before the management notices it," Seokjin says, tone resigned and tired. They just arrived from a choreography practice that ended way earlier than planned. It was a disaster. But it's not Jeongguk's fault.
Well, not entirely at least.
Jeongguk tries to ignore the elder. He already feels like shit after what happened and he doesn't need anyone to remind him over and over again how much of an idiot he is. He continues to walk briskly until he reached his room, Seokjin still trailing after him – his steps heavy and presence a little bit overwhelming. The younger grabs his door and moves to slam it shut but Seokjin is quicker and pushes Jeongguk out of the way before stepping inside and shutting the door himself. Jeongguk groans. It seems like there's no escape from the long lecture tonight, he thinks as he throws his body on his bed, not caring if he wasn't able to shower after practice. He's just going to change his sheets tomorrow.
"Jeon Jeongguk, must I always repeat myself when talking to you? I said talk to Taehyung about your mess and end whatever this is."
Seokjin is leaning on the wall as he stares down at Jeongguk with judging eyes.
Jeongguk scoffs at him, "Like I told you the other day too hyung, I'm not going to talk to him until he apologizes for that crappy thing he said to me first."
The younger turns to grab his blanket and hurriedly covers himself with it. If Seokjin is going to force him to talk about Taehyung then Jeongguk at least have the right to not do it when his hyung can see how close he is to breaking down again.
He knows he's being childish. He knows that this is so uncharacteristic of them to not run in their room and jump into each other's arms right after a fight. But Jeongguk is hurt and no matter how much he loves Taehyung, he knows he deserves an apology in some way somehow.
"Sungdeuk hyung literally had to break you guys off from screaming and clawing at each other's necks in the practice room just because Taehyung stepped on your foot."
"Well I was hurt and he didn't apologize."
"You said he was an insensitive jerk for stepping on your foot and he called you a selfish asshole for only thinking about yourself, Jeongguk."
That makes Jeongguk go quiet. It's obvious. Seokjin must have known that whatever he and Taehyung were screaming about a while ago in the practice room was nowhere near about the latter stepping on his foot. Everyone else must have figured it out by now. Their fight isn't as simple and petty. It was way more than that.
