Taehyung is really anxious about telling jungkook that is is actually a shapeshifter. And they are a double together.
Taehyung is in love with Jungkook. Although that much isn't hard to tell.
Taehyung had a crush on Jungkook as soon as he'd lay eyes on him. Or well it more like, as soon as his angelic voice had reached his ears.
Opposite to what had happened to Jimin, who had fallen in love slowly, Taehyung had fallen in love all at once. He had been standing there one day and then BAM - love had punched him in the face out of nowhere in the form of Jeon Jungkook.
Here's what happened: Taehyung was divagating the music building after his saxophone practice when he heard a voice that tugged at his heart on the most unique way possible. He decided to follow the voice; it took him to a closed room. There were no windows he could look through and he didn't want to open the door and interrupt the beautiful singing, so he didn't get the chance to see the singer's face. However, he stayed until the other was done singing. He didn't know what it was, but something in the boy's voice called to his wolf.
Taehyung had left the place before the other boy got out of the room. When he got home, he'd asked Yoongi about it.
"Omegas are more sensitive to stimuli and way more perceptive than others. I don't know, maybe your wolf is able to tell something about this boy is important just by listening to his voice, even if you don't know what yet," his brother had tried to explain.
Taehyung, a believer of fate, thought that if it was that important then he'd meet the boy one way or another. So, he'd didn't bother looking for him.
But things never go as planned. Taehyung had accompanied Jimin to his dance class once, and his eyes had been instantly glued to one person in particular. A boy with raven black hair and the prettiest doe eyes, with the sculpted body of an Adonis. And boy, was he handsome. But that hadn't been the problem; by end the of the class, Taehyung had heard the other boy speak to Hoseok - and he'd almost had a seizure. This boy was the one with the beautiful voice. That day, Taehyung had asked Jimin for help to get to know the raven-haired boy.
That's how he got to this moment: in a date with Jungkook. He admits that, at first, he wanted to get to know because of sheer curiosity and attraction, but, as soon as the other had opened up to him, Taehyung had fallen in love - and with more than just his voice. His wolf still curls up in happiness every time he hears Jungkook speak, especially when he sings, but their bond goes deeper than that.
Because of how in love he is with Jungkook, he doesn't want him to leave. Taehyung might not seem like it, but he feels very insecure at times. Sometimes people can be harsh and mean – he tries to ignore it, but he can't be strong all the time. He knows people call him weird and stupid; and he knows Jungkook likes him for that same thing. But what Jungkook doesn't know is that Taehyung's a shifter, and, somehow, he thinks that the younger boy might not like that part of him.
That's why he decides to ask subtly about it (if Jungkook would mind if hypothetically Taehyung wasn't human) while they eat ice cream together.
"Hey, Kookie?"
"Mm?" Jungkook responds, way too entranced by his lemon ice cream to think about anything. He only turns to face Tae after he nudges him with his shoulder.
"Kook, do you like dogs?" he asks timidly. The question has more behind it than it seems. Wolves are similar to dogs, so, if Jungkook likes dogs, wouldn't he like wolves by default too?
