Your POV
You'd think sharing a dorm with three of the so-called most notorious boys in college would be a challenge, but it's actually not. Not when they're my boyfriends, at least.
The real challenge? Putting up with all the playboys. In other words, putting up with Charles Lee and hiding it from three boyfriends.
~
"What class do you have next, darlin'?"
'Something with Charles.'
"History, with Greene," I answered, sticking my history notebook in my small (S/F/C) backpack.
"Do you want one of us to walk with you? I have Calculus around the same time," James spoke.
I waved his off, slinging my bag over my shoulder. "I'll be fine, Jem. Don't worry."
"You know he can't help it," Aaron added, eyes still on his Harry Potter book as he hid a smile.
I snickered. "I know. But I'm a perfectly capable woman."
"That you are," Aaron responded.
Before leaving, I kissed each of their cheeks. "Well, I'll see you in like an hour or so. At least Tommy and Aaron. Don't wait up on me if I'm not back!"
They said their goodbyes and I slipped out the dorm.
~
"Heyyy babe."
"Goodbye, Charles."
I held back a groan as Charles took a seat behind me. I was just glad it wasn't next to me.
"Aww, don't play like that, (Y/N)," he cooed.
I rolled my eyes. "The day I 'stop playing like that' will be the day you're not a playboy. Which will be never, so just stop while you can."
"What? Are you gonna get some boy to fight me? Have a secret boyfriend or somethin'?" As far as Charles knew, I was single. Which was probably for the best.
"No. But I know my brother would gladly fight you on his own accords," I replied, snickering.
"Oh please. We all know John would lose in a fight against me," Charles bragged.
"Keep telling yourself that; whatever gets you by, darling."
He was about to comment when Professor Greene walked into the room. "Alright everyone! Take out your notes!"
~
Walking out of the classroom, I knew the footsteps coming up to me were Charles. "Doll! Where do you think you're going?"
"Umm, back to my dorm?" I answered, keeping my pace.
"With those guys from debate? Where's the fun in that?" Charles dragged, swinging an arm around my shoulder.
I suppressed a fake gag, trying to pull his arm off. However, he kept a solid grip.
I groaned. "I'm not going with you on a date. Please stop wasting your time."
For the second time today, Charles was stopped from making a reply. "Are you that oblivious, Lee?"
Both Charles and I turned, me finally able to wriggle away from him. I was glad to see Aaron coming up.
"Oh lookie here, it's Hamilton's frenemy! Trying to come to princess's aid here? No need for it, bud," Charles taunted.
Aaron came over and put his hands on my arm in a gentle yet firm manner. He pulled me away from Charles. "We have somewhere to be anyways. She'll see you around, I'm sure."
With that, Aaron and I walked away, only letting go of my arm to grab my hand instead.
~
"So lemme get this straight, Lee actually had the nerve to be flirtin' with you?" Thomas questioned.
'So much for a typical day,' I thought.
"This was the first time, Tommy. Don't go dueling him or some sh*t," I responded, lying.
He only sighed, a hand running through his thick mane of curls. "Fine. Only for you, darlin'."
"Besides," I teased, "you know my brother would beat you to it."
Thomas raised an eyebrow at me. "Is that you making a challenge?"
"No. Because I know he'd win."
"You--!"
I squeaked as Thomas moved toward me and booked it to the bathroom, locking the door behind me. "Too slow, Tommy~!"
I heard his laugh from behind the door. "Oh, no worries. I'll just go take your 'Pride and Prejudice'--"
I flung the door open. "Don't you dare! That book is my child and you know that!"
Instead of responding, Thomas only picked me up, setting me over his shoulder. I squealed as he carried me back into the main room. "Thomas Jefferson! Put me down!"
He only laughed. "No can do, darlin'."
I looked at James and Aaron. "One of you! Pleaseeee!"
"I don't know, sugar. You got yourself into this," James teased.
"Aaron!"
Aaron glanced up from his book, a smile on his face. "Like Jem said, you seemed to get yourself into this."
I groaned, hitting Thomas's back. "Tommyyyyy!"
Finally, after some long moments, Thomas set me down. Quickly, I ran over and jumped on the couch next to James, clinging to his arm. "Tommy's rude."
James chuckled, grabbing my hand and placing a quick kiss on it. "Just ignore him."
"Oh, so now you help me!" I exclaimed, pulling out my phone.
Leaning into James's side, I unlocked my phone, purposefully ignoring Thomas talking to me as James had advised.
"James! Why would you tell her that!" Thomas complained.
"You did it, figure it out yourself," James chuckled.
"Don't look at me either, Thomas. You're on your own," Aaron spoke after a moment.
Maybe today was typical after all. My kinda day.
