Your POV

Being apart of the Hamilton cast was more than I could've ever asked for. Especially getting to be none other than Elizabeth Schuyler. Everyone in the cast was so funny and talented; we're just all one big family. But one person in particular caught my eye. Jasmine Cephas Jones.

Jasmine, or just as we called her, Jazzy, had to be one of the most gifted, most beautiful woman I've ever seen. Her beauty and her voice took her roles to a whole new level, especially her being Maria. Just being able to be best friends with her was something I never would want to trade.

But... best friends. Sure, I loved it, but part of me wanted something more. At the same time, I knew she was far out of my reach. Rumor had it she liked Anthony. I won't lie, Anthony was an awesome guy. We were great friends. But Renee has also said she liked girls anyways... particularly me. I didn't know what to believe.

Moving on from all that, today was a one show day. We've been practicing all day (I rlly need to stop the hamilton puns... but they're just non-stop... ;P) for tonight, and now that the Tony's were coming up and we had to perform, we worked even harder during rehearsal.

We were about to start the show soon, everyone was just chatting. I was talking to my 'sisters'. Renee was about to ask us something when Lin cut us off... as well as everyone else talking.

"What time is it?!" Lin exclaimed. He was about to answer his own question, but Anthony beat him to it.

"SHOWTIME!"

"Not the answer I was gonna use but that works too."

The cast laughed. And we all stood up, making our way to the wings. I stood with Jaz and Renee, and together we went to take our place.

Jazzy's POV (lil skip to Helpless as well)

I couldn't help but watch (Y/N), Lin, and Renee interact during Anthony and I's little chat session on the stairs. That didn't last long though before Anthony and I were dancing. Anthony knew about my crush on (Y/N), and he usually would tease me about it for fun. Maybe that's why people thought I liked him, because he was constantly teasing me about (Y/N), making me blush. He shot me a smile as we danced, and I returned it. After our dance, he grabbed my hand and pulled me under the ensemble dancers, off-stage (since we don't know where they go let's just assume off-stage).

"If it takes fighting a war for us to meet, it will have been worth it."

I could feel a pang of jealousy. Sure, I was Maria, but (Y/N)'s interactions with Lin were more romantic, and there was just more of it. Anthony gave me a sympathetic smile before I had to quickly go on yet again.

Being on stage with her always made me smile a genuine smile. I loved her so much. But even if she didn't like me, we were still best friends. I guess that's enough. Just being her girlfriend though... that would be enough.

I soon found myself walking down the aisle with Daveed. Then I watched (Y/N) kiss Lin, the first time of many in this show. Luckily I didn't have to watch any of them... besides this one.

"Helpless...~" As she sang the last line, I couldn't help but feel the same.

Luckily, we didn't have to be on until Stay Alive, so I could just hang out with (Y/N) for the time being. I was about to compliment (Y/N) for doing a good job (as usual), when she pulled me to the stairwell. "(Y/N)! What're you doing?"

(Y/N) paused at the bottom of the steps. She mumbled a "f*ck it" and quickly looked at me. "Forgive me for this, Jaz.."

I was about to ask what she was about to do, when she quickly stepped toward me and slammed her lips onto mine. My eyes widened, but quickly closed as my arms found their way around her shoulders.

We broke away after a bit, breathing unevenly. The first thing was said by her. "Damn..."

I smiled sheepishly. "Indeed."

(Y/N) smiled but quickly realized what she did. "Oh sh*t! I'm sorry I did that I should've asked! It's okay if you don't like me back I just really lik--" she was rambling quickly before I cut her off with another kiss.

"Jesus (Y/N), calm down!" I said, laughing. "You do realize if I didn't love you I would've pulled away right?"

Realization dawned on her features. "Riiiight..." Then she blushed brightly after rethinking my words. "So I guess you... wow."

I giggled at her sudden sheepishness. "Yes (N/N)."

She looked at me. "Be my girlfriend. Pleaaaase?"

I nodded, grinning. "Don't have to ask twice, love."

I pulled her into another kiss, but that was short lived because we heard a familiar voice cat-calling. (Y/N) turned to the doorway. "Damnit Ant!" she exclaimed. Anthony only laughed.

"I have pics now. I can only say I told you so, Jaz, (Y/N)."

So it turned out (Y/N) talked to him too. Huh.

All three of us couldn't help but laugh, then we heard applause.

"Sh*t... it's Stay Alive! Hurry up lovebirds!" Anthony said. Two songs already happened? Damn.

(Y/N) grabbed my hand and pulled me back into the wings. We were about to step on when she kissed my cheek. "See you in less than a minute!" With that, she hurried into stage, leaving me blushing. I hurried on behind her.

The things I've done for love...  I'd do them again if it meant making (Y/N) happy.
