Your POV
BMT was always interesting to me. But it felt different knowing I'd be telling other people around rather than having them tell me. Drill sergeant killed the voice, but it was worth it.
With the company of my close friend and fellow drill sergeant Caleb Rawlins, we had gotten the recruits (and my boyfriends) off the bus, and into uniforms. I could tell my boys were surprised by my tone, but I brushed it off.
Now, we were all at a track. I walked back and forth in front of everyone, arms behind my back.
"You will be running three miles! No less! You must be done with a mile and a half before twelve minutes are up, and you will not take longer than twenty-eight minutes to complete all three miles! When you are finished, you will stand off to the side. You will not sit, you will not crouch, and you will not address either drill sergeant! Understand me?"
More 'Yes Drill Sergeant!'s.
I nodded in approval. "Good. Line up, and do not move until I count you down!"
They did as told.
"Three! Two! One! Go!"
Everyone took off, and Rawlins started a timer in his hand. He turned to me. "They all look like a strong bunch."
I nodded. "Indeed. I'm only worried about Alexander in the next ten minutes."
"Well, we'll see how it goes," Rawlins replied, starting to run down to another area of the track to keep watch.
I had been keeping track of most people after ten minutes, and everyone was doing pretty decently. Many recruits had already passed the the mile and a half, including Laf. Alex however... was still trying to go for the first quarter of mile two. I could tell he was starting to tire out.
"Ay!" I barked to him from a distance. "No walking! Understand?!"
"Yes Drill Sergeant!" Alex called in the strongest voice he could, starting to jog again.

It had been a couple hours. The recruits had took some classes, done some of the PT, and had ran yet another mile. Now we were going to what had been my least favorite place (and to be fair, everyone else's), the gas chamber.
"While you are in the chamber, you are to stay along the wall. Do you understand me?" I instructed, arms crossed. Unlike earlier, I had taken the force of my voice down.
