Everyone led their own lives, unaware of what was to come.
But then, many strangers were pit together in one house. Seemed weird enough. Another catch? They couldn't leave until they all managed to get to know each other.
Your POV
My life had went from completely boring to crazy real fast. We were told we couldn't get out unless we all 'got to know each other'. What?
~
One moment I was with Amara, and the next I was in this completely new house. In the same room were a bunch of people I had never seen in my entire life.
A woman with dark, curly hair, also sporting pink, spoke up first. "Did that just happen to all of you?"
Another woman next to her nodded. "Yeah... one moment I was with James and the next.."
"Well, I don't know about you, but some voice told us we couldn't leave until we knew each other. So hi, I'm (Y/N)." (I would tho)
"Exactly. I'm Angelica," the first woman responded.
"Maria," the woman next to her added.
With that, it seemed to finally sink in as people started saying their names. It turned out Angelica had two sisters here with her so at least she had some company.
My first thought was to get to know Maria. Something about her seemed really nice.
~
Now we're here, a few days later. I knew most people pretty well, with the exception of someone.
Thomas Jefferson.
I still barely even knew him. I knew his name, but that was about it. Everything about him was just so... bad. He flirted with the women too much, and was always picking a fight with Alexander and his new friends.
"I literally can't get to know him," I mumbled to Maria as we stood in the living room entry way, overlooking yet another bickering match.
"Well, most of the women have to get to know him if we want to leave this place," she responded quietly.
"I'd rather be stuck here for the rest of my life than get to know Jefferson," I retorted, crossing my arms as said man tried countering Alexander.
If there was anything I'd learned in these past few days, it was not to mess with Alexander. He knew his words and knew just what to say to tear you down. It was a miracle Jefferson was even standing against him.
